This 2 parter is certainly one of the best stories in Tennant's run as the Doctor. Something Steven Moffat does really well is make the ordinary and mundane terrifying, whether it's a child in a gas masks, statues, or simple shadows. You don't need a massive monster and expensive special effects, just a simple concept like this to scare the bejesus out of the audience. As for Miss Evangelista, she was Mr Lux's personal assistant - that's why she was with them. Lux is obviously someone who prefers to have someone he can look down on and order about in his employ. Also, Alex Kingston as Prof River Song is magnificent.

Yes River!! Truly the back half of series 4 is when doctor who starts to have consistently good episodes. This one in particular mixes horror and camp very well

Yes! I love that the “monster” can’t really be seen. It makes it so much more terrifying. Keep it simple

I love how intrigued you were with this story and the mystery of River. There's a good amount of confusion, mystery and surprise elements to really keep people gripped and curious with this story. I love the concept of the library planet and the threatening presence of the Vashda Narada who can't be seen in the dark. Miss Evangelista's death scene always gave me chills especially with the data ghost consience, Donna being emotional and that haunted repeating of her last words where you can't tell if she's saying "I scream" or "Ice cream"
