Well damn - first of all the poor dog didn't deserve that. Second of all I really wish Daemon had said the kings brother, because oh man...the poor kid didn't deserve that and Helaena (not sure if I'm spelling it right), but she's the most innocent of them all, she's always been the sweetest and most innocent. If I were Rhaenyra I would have won her over to my side. Rhaenyra was very specific she wanted Aemond, they should have come up with a better plan, or just..idk. Daemon couldn't have gone with them but at the same time he would have gotten the task taken care of properly, they also could have bided their time a little bit and been smarter like perhaps some poison or something. Alicent - I've decided I hate her. On one hand good on you, finally you're getting good sex, but also fuck you Alicent, because she hated on Rhaenyra for sleeping with Ser Criston, just to turn around and do the same, and from what she was saying in this episode - it seems that she's not fully delulu about what Viserys said on his deathbed. Everyone knows she's full of shit, even she knows she's full of shit. Alicent is a hater and is the reason her step grandson, and her grandchild got murdered. Aegon I don't think would have gone to war, I think he would have eventually perhaps tried to get peace or something - but the error was made so it makes sense that he's not gonna give two shits and will go to war now, and deservedly so. The only people at fault in this situations is Alicent, Otto, and Aemond. Also kind of Viserys but he was on his death bed and not in his right mind when he said what he said.

Agree with everything you said! As for Viserys’s last words, wasn’t there some legend or prophecy about future Aegon (Jon Snow) being a savior or something? I always thought Viserys mentioned that before when he was coherent maybe to Rhaenyra and he was thinking of that legend again on his deathbed and Allicent misunderstood and thought he meant her son Aegon.
