So much happens in this episode! I loved how excited you got about the fight with Wille & August - cause SAME 😆 Also YES to the chemistry between Edvin & Omar - it's insane and that scene by the lockers after Wille joins the choir is incredible from them. There's a documentary about the filming of Young Royals that shows Edvin & Omar's first audition together and it's so sweet. They barely had a chance to introduce themselves before diving in to the scenes and they just instantly clicked and trusted each other and were improvising together. They basically re-wrote the character of Simon when they met Omar after seeing him and Edvin together. Such perfect casting. The argument in the tent seems to be very divisive among viewers and I totally get why. I agree that Wille's intentions were coming from a good place when he brought up his summer plans, but I definitely cringed hearing him refer to it as working "just like you", because it did shine a huge light on his privilege, and also on the fact that he doesn't seem to really realize it. I think Simon was probably embarrassed about that in front of his friends and then frustrated with Wille being so clueless which I get, but he came at Wille too hard for it I think and didn't recognize that he was just trying to bridge the divide between the two groups at the campfire. Wille I'm sure would've been able to listen to Simon's point rather than get defensive if Simon had approached it gentler. I was however MORTIFIED when Wille shushed Simon like that was WILD. Such something the queen would do to him 😭 Let's get it together boys!
