Happy New Year! Going Into 2023! (Patreon)

Happy New Year to all of you beautiful people! What's in store for 2023 you ask? Well, this is the first year I will primarily focus on Movie content. In previous years, most of my time was spent with the music channel, however, that is no longer the case. I will post a music video or two a week over on the YouTube channel directly, but 99% of my focus will be on creating Movie content.

My goals for the Movie channel and Patreon for 2023 are the following...
• Reach 50,000 Subscribers by the end of the year. This will be tough, but with a lot of hard work, I might be able to reach it.
• Upload 2 Movies per week consistently, however, things slightly slow down in the summer when the kids are out for school break.
• Finish the Community TV series, and continue watching Raw Cut versions of TV shows, that you the Patron's will help determine through polls.
• Earn enough income from being a content creator to continue to do this full-time.

I didn't list it above because I doubt it will be possible this year, however, my biggest goal has always been to earn enough to hire a video editor, however, up until now, I'm just managing to pay the bills. The other big movie reaction channels that pump out a movie reaction every 2 days are able to do so because they have editors to do the hard work for them, or they produce fast edits of their reactions which only take a few hours, but results in poor quality. I'm on a Discord with other movie reactions channels and those that don't have editors only spend about 3-5 hours editing, but as a result, they have constant copyright issues and slow growth. Whereas my edits take about 20 hours from start to finish. I've always wanted to put quality over quantity with this channel and create the best product I could within a reasonable time frame. I like to make sure the subject of the scene is centred in the frame, I like to make sure the audio flows in and out nicely so it doesn't chop in and out, etc. This takes time, but I can say I'm happy when the editing is done. :)

Well, that's enough chatting for now. I hope you all have a friggin' sweet 2023. My kids go back to school in a few days and then it'll be full steam ahead with recording and editing. Thanks for sticking with me and helping to support my dream.
