This one took me over 2 months from start to finish, but I'm really happy with the end result.

This map is the result of your direct feedback, asking for an active temple that was by the coastline and provided a potential location/process for handling restorative magics like raise dead, resurrection and true resurrection.

The Temple of Restoration resides on a remote island, and is led by a dwarven priestess named Urla Stonesea. The temple provides respite and assistance to all that call at its doors, worshiping Dunaan, the god of neutrality, oceans and the heavens, the tides and the ebb and flow of life and death. Any hostile actions not sanctioned by the priesthood will have immediate consequences, the least of which being the desired services denied and the offending parties removed from the temple.

The temple consists of several spheres, each providing a variety of services and accommodations.

The greeting sphere (south) welcomes visitors to the temple, with carvings upon the wall depicting the ocean, the heavens and the power of the sea. A large statue of a mermaid wielding two curved blades looms in the center, while braziers burn and illuminate the chamber.

A hallway north of the greeting chamber contains a small circular platform, which can be simply decorative, or you may want to have it serve as a teleportation circle in your higher-fantasy campaigns for easier access to the temple once they've visited.

The calling sphere (southeast) contains spacious guest chambers, a recovery room, baths, kitchen and a suite with rooms for a group of priests and the leader of this sphere. A large statue of a merfolk female holding a golden trident is here, and it is this location where the soul of the fallen will be called by their companions recounting their deeds, telling stories of their glories and tales of friendship. The speaking of these stories, in this place, will call upon the soul to return to its mortal frame in preparation for the next stage.

The learning sphere (southwest) is a massive library containing walls of towering shelves crammed with books. Several tables lay scattered about for visiting scholars to study or visitors to read while waiting for their friend(s) to recover. In the center of this sphere is a large pool, the depths of which are the home of the sentient clam, Caalu, who provides wisdom from its many centuries alive and in contact with those who have visited the library.

The cleaning sphere (northwest) contains two large classrooms, the head priestess's office, and a few other bedrooms of local instructors/priests that dwell here. A large statue of a merfolk male holding a golden glaive is here, watching over a large stone platform set upon a metal grate. Beneath the grate, water flows along a channel into one of the neighboring pools. It is here where the body of the fallen is cleansed and prepared for the final stage.

The cleansing sphere (northeast) is a massive chamber and contains accommodations for the paladins and their leader, a private library and bedroom of a local wizard and barracks for the priests assigned to this area. A large statue of a merfolk holding a golden trident is here, water gushing from the trident into the pool before her. Opposite the statue, across the pool, is a large set up steps leading toward a glowing pool of blue water. This is the cleansing pool, where the body is laid to have its soul purified and cleared of any tethers from the underworld.

As souls may have attracted the attention of demons or devils, the chamber is surrounded by several merfolk statues attending the exits, and the paladins are on hand for every resurrection, should one of the demons or devils emerge. Once the soul has been purified, then the rite of resurrection is cast and, with any luck, body and soul are reunited in life.

The head priestess also has a personal sphere, where she holds dinners with visitors and meets with important guests.

I hope you guys enjoy this map, and make good use of it in your adventures!
