This is the second half of the Merchant Outpost, depicting an old military camp now serving as a Trade Outpost on the southern edge of a river.

This section of the outpost contains:

1. Full General Store

2. Farmer with Cows

3. Jail

4. Government Building (2 floors)

5. Temple

6. [7] Individual Homes

7. Potential PC Headquarters (if they base out of here)

8. Granary

9. Farmhouse

10. North and West Outpost Gates

Extending the environment of the first map, this trading outpost map provides even more options for a variety of social and combat encounters, as well as the background for countless story elements, whether it be liberating the village from the attacks of bandits to dealing with internal political issues to collecting bounties set by the Outpost Captain to making deliveries for one (or more) of the businesses.

Each building is carefully detailed and provides options to use the outpost as a:

1. Base of Operations -- Players may arrive here and spend several sessions finding, accepting and completing quests.

2. Character Background Location - One of your PC's may be from this town and have to return to deal with some family or local issue.

3. Starting Location - Your players may need somewhere to begin your adventure, meeting in the tavern located here and spending several sessions basing out of the outpost before moving on to the rest of your world.

The Map Pack contains:

1st Floor Map of the Merchant Outpost

2nd Floor Map of the Merchant Outpost

A brief description of the various buildings (per the legend) are:

1. Outpost Tavern - Part of the outpost tavern (fully pictured in the previous map) is represented here, as there is a bit of overlap between the two maps. This tavern provides many rooms and a great source of entertainment for those passing through.

2. Personal Residence - One of the local families have a home here.

3. General Store - The primary store in town, this fine establishment offers a great many items, due to the amount of trade that comes through the outpost from other parts of the world.

4. Communal Dwelling - This large building supports several individual homes and many families, often living together within the safety of the outpost's walls.

5. Personal Residence & Farmer - This personal residence keeps cows and some other livestock within the walls, providing butter, milk and other fresh goods.

6. Personal Residence - One of the local families have a home here.

7. Outpost Jail - This squat building features a handful of cells, guard post and a private quarters for a sheriff or guard captain.

8. Government Building - This large stone structure is one of the original parts of the outpost, belonging to a time when it was still active in military activities. It has two stories and contains housing for most of the soldiers, officers and outpost leader.

9. Personal Residence - One of the local families have a home here.

10. Personal Residence - One of the local families have a home here.

11. Small Compound - This building could be used as a headquarters for players basing out of the outpost, or for a rival mercenary/adventuring outfit.

12. Temple - This old stone temple provides sanctuary to the poor and spiritual guidance to those in need.

13. Northeast Gatehouse - This 2-story gatehouse overlooks a stone bridge crossing the river and guarding against the north.

14. Western Gatehouse - This 2-story gatehouse overlooks a road leaving to the west and guards against the encroaching woods.

15. Farmhouse - This farmhouse contains one of the many farming families that live outside the walls of this outpost.

16. Granary - This large structure houses a lot of the grain used by the outpost (though the outpost does keep its own stores, as well).

Tier Rewards will be sent out shortly!

I hope you enjoy it!

Wow once again great timing. I imported south the other day and was going to lay it out, but thought I should wait. Glad I did!!! It'll be a few months before we run that content anyway, but always trying to get ahead. ;-) So, being the guy I am, I down-rezzed the HiRes so that the overlapped combo map I created is < 16384 px (Foundry VTT canvas limit). I'm all about the big maps, and will gladly tile this together. The fit is really good, everything aligns in the overlapping area. The buildings, trees, and tents: all align perfectly, only the terrain brushes are off a bit but really a non-issue. Colors off a bit as well, but again, non-issue. However, as you know we're still missing a good chunk of the walled in area to the southwest., and some of outer area to the northeast. Those are bigger issues. ;-) Without those, there's really no reason for me to attempt a combined map; I might as well just keep them separate, and wall off the overlapping region in one of them.. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words... https://ibb.co/djQhMd0 Any chance in our future of seeing a complete map? Or, more smaller maps to fill in the missing areas (shown above in the linked image with ?) If so, I'll continue to wait. ;-) Like I said, I'm months from running this content, so no rush on my part! Regardless, I love this outpost!

I may be inclined to extend the southern map to include more of the buildings there, and then to perhaps just do that little NE section to complete the "square" in Photoshop or something.
