Phandalin - Custom Village Raid Map Pack! (Patreon)
Content
Hey guys!
VERY excited about this one, not only because we've got a really fun map and new mechanic, but because it's time for another great collaboration with James RPG Art for the wonderful concept scene and animation!
James' RPG Art makes animated scenes to help players visualise environments and add immersion and tone to your games. He has created over 300 scenes from official WotC adventures and many unique locations that are often found in a D&D adventure. He releases 4 new locations each month for his patrons.
To download the Map Pack, please click on your Tier link below and the download URL will be listed there in map release order. These tiles have been added to the previous Seatower of Balduran links, so just downloading the previous links will show all of the files for this location now.

VILLAGE IN FLAMES!
This Map Pack contains a variety of maps that allow you to customize a raid upon the poor village of Phandalin (or any village in your homebrew) by utilizing a variety of PNG tiles to be placed over the base map, as the raid progresses.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
There are [7] tiles provided with the Map Pack, as well as [2] Base Maps -- one engulfed entirely in flame and one innocently slumbering during the night. If you just want to go right to full-blown raid, then you can use the base map with the village already in flames.
If you are using a VTT, however, you can lay the PNG tiles of specific regions of the village with a "Raided" version to customize the origin and path of the raid, as desired by the narrative.
By placing the PNG tiles in the locations you desire, you control the flow of the fight based on how the PC's respond to each stage.
The PNG tiles look like this:
Has the enemy found the secret tunnel leading to the base of the estate and mounted a surprise attack from up on the hill? Place that tile first.
Has the enemy crept in from the north, setting the farms alight and charging down toward the center of town -- begin with the northernmost tile and then control the progression as your system describes. As the encounters progress, more sections of the town may come under attack, or the main army may move forward to a new section, where the PC's will have to plan how to not only stop the army, but save the village in flames.
I had a lot of fun coming up with this one, and many thanks to those of you on Discord that helped shape the encounter!
I hope you guys have a blast with it!
