The Guardian’s Skyship is a flying vehicle owned by the Guardian’s of Antiquity, an adventure seeking organization that searches the world over for artifacts, relics and, most importantly, profit.

This particular Skyship is named the Call of Adventure, simply referred to by the crew as “the Call”.
It contains [4] levels, including the Aftercastle, Main Deck, Mid Deck and Lower Deck, as well as the tethered balloon keeping them afloat with a combination of super heated air, magical flame and a surrounding material enchanted both for durability and flexibility.

The Aftercastle contains a warm hearth and comfortable seating about a long wooden table normally laden with a combination of food and maps. The Guardians share their meals here, using it as a base of operations while on site and conducting research and tactical planning while in transit to a given location.

The Main Deck contains the ship’s wheel, storage, rudder steerage, rope tethers, a formidable harpoon gun at the bow and [4] cannons in the aft. A pair of large cargo doors lead into the storage hold below, while a shallower locker contains ammunition for the harpoon gun.

The Mid Deck features [3] cabins belonging to the Guardians, as well as the Galley, Cargo Hold and Privy. A metal ladder leads down into the lower deck, while a curving stairwell leads up to the mid deck.

The Lower Deck includes two general crew quarters, one of which is normally reserved for guests found along the way or traveling with them on adventure. It also contains the ship’s engine room and engineer’s quarters, as well as a bath that can be fed water through piping overhead.

I've included some artwork by HIIDRA Studios (portrait and token), as well as a writeup for the skyship. This vehicle was designed to be used in conjunction with the Guardian's Office in the recent map, Coastal Village, which has a landing pad for the airship on the rooftop.

I hope you enjoy it!

Love these flying ships! No idea why the concept is so captivating, but one of my crowning achievements in my first D&D campaign was my wizard crafted a flying viking longship. Just something awesome about it! :D
