OC - Amary (Patreon)

FR- En attendant de pouvoir finaliser une illustration de Yugo/Amalia et une autre pour le tier Spicy, je vous présente un autre de mes personnages, Amary.

Allons-y pour un roman!

Amary est, avec son frère Tylender, le personnage que j'ai le plus fait souffrir de par son histoire. Et même! Dans la 'version originale', elle devait mourir à l'âge de 22 ans.... Mais je souhaitais tellement pouvoir lui offrir une vie que j'ai décidé de modifier son histoire. (bien que la version originale était cohérente aussi, elle m'amenait à trop de difficultés narratives pour que le tout soit bien rendu... Bref, je m'éloigne, mais si ça vous intéresse je pourrai en dire plus)

Amary est petite, 5 pied 5 pouces environ. Elle est très réservée de nature et ne dévoile que très peu ses sentiments, ce qui parfois lui donne la réputation d'être quelqu'un de froide, ou de 'snob' en québecois. Mais en fait, elle c’est forgée une très grande carapace pour se protéger et elle est incapable de s'en défaire... Amary est très intelligente académiquement et a un bon sens analytique, ce qui lui vaut de très bons commentaires et recommandations à l'école, mais vont lui causer des problèmes. Elle n'entretient que très peu d'amitié, car elle a une grande difficulté à faire confiance. La seule personne en qui elle a entièrement confiance, c’est Tylender.

Histoire: Elle commence comme celle de Tylender. Le père d'Amary était un chef très haut gradé dans l'armé. Son frère, de 2 ans son cadet et elle on donc été longtemps dans cet univers  militaire, sous la supervision de leur mère. Mais, alors qu' Amary a 13 ans, ses parents meurent sur le champ de bataille durant une guerre (sa mère travaillant comme professeure pour l'école  militaire et pour certains cours plus poussés pour les militaires).  Amary et son frère seront donc sous la tutelle d'un ami intime de leurs  parents.  Ils y vivent de façon plutôt aisé (sans être riche, ils sont  très confortable).  Et comme tout les jeunes, ils feront 2 ans d'école  militaire (je tenterai d'en parler plus une prochaine fois, de cette  école militaire).

Si Amary est plus joviale et ouverte dans sa jeunesse, elle se referme sur elle-même durant  son adolescence. La mort de ses parents l’affecte, car elle se voit alors comme celle qui doit veiller sur son frère.  Reconnue par ses professeurs pour son talent analytique et ses stratégies de guerre (un des cours obligatoire durant l'école), son nom circule dans l'école et elle reçois même un prix. Mais c'est là que ça se complique. Darmian Alcaraz, un officier très haut placé dans l'armé, s'intéresse à son travail et demande alors l'autorisation d'utiliser ses talents pour certains projets. Elle se doit donc de passer du temps en sa compagnie, sous forme de 'cours privés'. Mais bien vite, le général ne fait pas juste que  s'intéresser à son intellectuel, mais à son physique qu'il voit se développer au cours des mois.  Il commence alors à être un peu plus exigeant et tentera de se rapprocher d'elle. Bien qu'Amary tente de résister et de  rester distante (face à un supérieur) elle n'y voit aucune issue et n'ose pas parler de cela, par honte. 

Durant ce temps, Tylender est de plus en plus souvent victime d'intimidation, de blessures (jamais par les même personnes, souvent 'accidentelle' ) et de coups bas/punitions. Puisqu'elle résiste à ses avances de plus en plus oppressante, c'est Darmian qui lui fait comprendre que si elle résiste, c'est alors son frère qui en subira les conséquences. ( Il est impossible de remonter à la source et de prouver que les ordres viennent bel et bien de Darmian, ce qui fait qu'Amary sent qu'elle est prise au piège). Le coup finale étant que Tylender se fait casser le bras... Amary accepte donc son sort, pour protéger son frère. Ce calvaire va durer 4 ans. Jamais elle ne voudra en parler à Tyl, voulant à tout pris le protéger. Si parfois elle résiste à Darmian, elle sait automatiquement que Tylender en souffrira.Mais un jour, c'est la goutte qui fait déborder le vase. Amary doit se faire avorter elle est n'est plus capable de se cacher derrière son mur. Suite à ce geste, elle craque et Tylender la découvre ainsi... Je coupe court, mais ensemble et avec l'aide de Zakary (et de témoignages de d'autres gens de l'école) ils seront capable de faire emprisonner Darmian.

J'en parle dans la bio de Tylender, mais Amary et lui vivront ensemble pendant quelques années, pour aider à rebâtir un Amary. Cela dit, elle ne semble pas s'acclimater à la vie en ville et ne se sent jamais à sa place. Lorsqu'elle se sentira prête, elle partira en voyage, tenter de trouver un endroit ou elle se sentira 'chez elle'. Ce faisant, elle quittera son frère (qui en sera dévasté, mais comprendra son besoin).

Amary finira, après des mois de recherches et de visites, par trouver un endroit au sud, ou elle s’achètera un petit condo et deviendra écrivaine. Mettre en histoire ce qu'elle a vécue, toute ses émotions qu'elle ne peut exprimer de vive voix...

note: Merci à ma complice, car alors que je tentais de  trouver comment Amary pourrait avoir sa place dans mes histories, tout en étant absente, m'a alors posée cette question: Et si elle partait? Que sa place était ailleurs et non pas auprès de son frère? Comme ça elle serait  vivante, mais non présente?  Cette question m'aura alors permis de dénouer ce que j'étais incapable de voir :)

But in fact, she forged a very large shell/wall to protect herself and she is unable to shed it ... Amary is very academically intelligent and has good analytical sense, which earns her great comments and recommendations. at school, but will cause her problems. She maintains very little friendship because she has great difficulty in trusting someone. The only person she completely trusts is Tylender.

Story: It starts off like Tylender's. Amary's father was a very senior leader in the military. Her brother, 2 years younger than her, and she therefore spent a long time in this military universe, under the supervision of their mother. But, when Amary was 13 years old, her parents died on the battlefield during a war (her mother working as a teacher for the military school and for some more advanced courses for the military). Amary and her brother will therefore be under the tutelage of a close friend of their parents. They live there rather easily (without being rich, they are very comfortable).

If Amary is more jovial and open in her youth, she withdraws into herself during her adolescence. The death of her parents affects her because she sees herself as the one who must watch over her brother. Recognized by her teachers for her analytical talent and war strategies (one of the compulsory courses during school), her name circulates in the school and she even receives an award. But this is where it gets complicated. Darmian Alcaraz, a very high-ranking military officer, is interested in her work and asks for permission to use her talents for certain projects. She must therefore spend time in his company, in the form of 'private lessons'. But very quickly, the general does not just take an interest in her intellectual, but in her physique which he sees developing over the months. He then begins to be a little more demanding and will try to get closer to her. Although Amary tries to resist and to stay distant (in front of a superior) she sees no way out and does not dare talk about it, out of shame.

During this time, Tylender is increasingly the victim of bullying, injuries (never by the same people, often 'accidental') and low blows / punishments. Since she resists his increasingly oppressive advances, it's Darmian who makes her understand that if she resists, then it is her brother who will suffer the consequences. (It is impossible to go back to the source and prove that the orders indeed come from Darmian, which makes Amary feel like she is trapped). The final blow being that Tylender has his arm broken ... Amary accepts his fate, to protect her brother. This ordeal will last 4 years. She will never want to talk to Tyl about it, wanting to protect him at all costs. If at times she resists Darmian, she automatically knows Tylender will suffer, but one day it's the straw that breaks the camel's back. Amary has to have an abortion; she is no longer able to hide behind her wall. Following this gesture, she cracks and Tylender discovers her as well ... I cut it short, but together and with the help of Zakary (and testimonies from other people from the school) they will be able to imprison Darmian.

I cover this in Tylender's bio, but he and Amary will live together for a few years, to help rebuild  Amary. That said, she doesn't seem to acclimatize to city life and never feels at her place. When she feels ready, she will go on a trip, trying to find a place where she will feel 'at home'. In doing so, she will leave her brother (who will be devastated, but will understand her need).

Amary will eventually, after months of research and sightseeing, find a place to the south, where she will buy a small condo and become a writer. Put into history what she has lived, all her emotions that she cannot express in person ...

note: Thanks to my complice, because while I was trying to find how Amary could fit into my stories, while being absent, then asked me this question: What if she leaves? That his place was elsewhere and not with his brother? Like that she would be alive, but not present? This question will then have allowed me to unravel what I was unable to see :)
