This is a small update that fixes the navigation bar visibility issues for all game types and performance issues for RPG Maker XP/VX/VX Ace games. Also, starting with this update JoiPlay and it's plugins won't be available on Google Play for Android 11 and above until a further notice.

These builds are still in alpha so there might be some unexpected behaviors.

Hi! Unfortunately, Google Play thinks reading/writing game files isn't a core function of JoiPlay and rejected JoiPlay's permission declaration for all files access. As a result, I have to push new updates only for Android 10 and lower. JoiPlay will be still available through Patreon for Android 11 and above, so this change only affects Google Play. Also, it will be available on Google Play again when the issues are resolved, but there will be some negative changes for user experience.

I've been using JoiPlay quite a bit for a few months now, mostly to play Ren'py games. Wonderful option to have. But I just recently got a new 2-in-1 Windows laptop instead of another Android tablet. I figured copying those games I've been playing in JoiPlay over would be a cinch, but that hasn't been the case. 1st, JoiPlay puts its saves folder in a different location than Ren'py when the games run natively - no big deal, I can just copy them to the proper location, right? Except when I do and then attempt to load any of the saves on my Windows machine, it crashes the game every time. So is there something I can do to salvage these saves, or do I just need to start over with any games I was playing in JoiPlay?

Hi, JoiPlay uses a modified version of the latest stable version of Ren'Py so save files contain some data that doesn't exist on old versions. You can try deleting lib and renpy folders and copying contents of this zip file to root of game folder.
