Franuary (Patreon)

 Hello my dear nerds. First of all: HOW ARE YOUUUUU? I know we're going to see each other this friday for our lovely newsletter, BUT I wanted to ask you something first.

As you guys know, during January I'll be doing #franuary (thank you SO MUCH Stephanie for the naaame!) which consists in uploading an illustration a day for 30 days during january. The topic of 2017 is animals. As you guys know I SUCK at drawing animals (but cats), and since I want to get better I thought this challenge would be the best opportunity to practice. Also: I need to draw animals doing something other than standing or eating or hunting, so I thought it’d me way more interesting if they’re doing human stuff, human actions. And here’s where I NEED YOUR HELP.

Could you please tell me

1. Your favourite animal or an animal you think would be interesting drawing. ANY animal: farm, jungle, wild or pet. 

2. An action, the more specific the better. With this I mean “talking on the phone” is nice, but “going to the supermarket after her annoying colleague Barb stole one of her clients” would be wonderful. 

Pro-tip: For challenges like this one I’ve realised that the more specific you can be with an idea/topic, you have 70% of the job done. I can’t tell you HOW SCARED I AM about this whole thing, but I’ll do my best. Together we can do it!

~ Hola mis amados nerds. Primero que todo: COMO ESTAAAAAN? Yo sé que nos veremos este viernes para nuestro hermoso newsletter, PERO quería preguntarles algo antes.

Como ustedes saben nerds, durante Enero estaré haciendo #franuary (muchísimas gracias Stephanie por el nombreee!) que consiste en subir una ilustración al día por todo enero. El tema de este 2017 es animales. Como saben APESTO cuando se trata de dibujar animales (menos gatos), y como quiero mejorar pensé que este reto es la mejor oportunidad para practicar. También: necesito dibujar animales hcaiendo algo más que estando de pie, comiendo o cazando, así que se me ocurrió que sería mucho más interesante si estuviesen haciendo cosas de humanos, acciones humanas. Y es aquí DONDE NECESITO DE SU AYUDA.

Por favor podrían decirme

1. Cuál es su animal favorito o animal que creen que sería interesante dibujar. CUALQUIER animal: granja, jungla, salvaje o mascota.

2. Una acción, mientras más específico mejor. Con esto quiero decir que "hablando por teléfono" está bien, pero "yendo al supermercado luego de que su desagradable colega de trabajo Barb le robó uno de sus clientes" sería maravilloso. 

Pro-tip: Para retos así me he dado cuenta que mientras más específico sea una idea o tema, el 70% del trabajo está hecho. No puedo decirles LO ASUSTADA que estoy con esto, pero haré mi mejor esfuerzo. Juntos podemos hacerlo!
