Heeeey y'all! HELLLO! Greetings from my studio, would you like some hot ginger lemonade? some banana bread?

GUYS, I'M PROUD; I finished yet another ugly sketchbook and started a new one, yaay! So I'm here to share with you all the pages I've drawn during the last weeks of 2020 and January so far.

A few notes on these pages:

• I've been loving to draw videos of people moving or dancing. What I do is I watch the video on my phone and take multiple screen captures as I go, and then I draw and practice my fav poses. Please do it, is so much fun!

I'm trying to practice people standing from the side. Ed gave me some constructive feedback the other day, he said "you're really good at drawing poses from people standing facing the camera, but rarely you draw people from the side" and he's right. I love wide front-facing shoulders I'M GUILTY AS CHARGED. So I've been more mindful to draw people not facing forward!

• This month I started drawing my graphic novel, Erinyes, and OH BOY I can tell how much drawing my ugly sketchbook has helped me. Seriously guys. I started my ugly sketchbook with the sole purpose of doing something, ANYTHING, while I was hitting rock bottom in my depression, not knowing really I was getting better at drawing people/poses. It truly helped me to not be scared so much at making mistakes (still do, but not as much as before).

I hope you enjoyed this tour! As always I'm sharing all references (remember, no ones sees the original -except you guys lol- so don't worry about making mistakes!) and supplies:

• RENDR no show thru paper sketchbook

• Pentel Slicci pen

• Sakura Gelly Roll in white

• Sharpie

• Maru pen nib

• DELETER manga ink, BLACK 4
