Hello my beautiful and beloved nerds. I’m drinking glorious coffee in my usual pink Pantone mug whilst writing you this newsletter. GOD, I LOVE writing this newsletter!

I think I haven’t told you this, but I keep a text edit file open on my desk background, and every time I find something cool or interesting to show you, I write it down. And I love it. I love sharing stuff with you guys because they’re stuff I would share with my friends and talk about them over coffee or lunch. So now we are all 160 of us having lunch and talking AT THE SAME TIME haha no I’m kidding, let’s talk one at a time.

Hola mis hermosos y amados nerds. Estoy ahora mismo tomando mi usual glorioso café en mi taza Pantone rosa mientras les escribo este newsletter. DIOS, AMO escribirles!

Creo que no les he dicho esto, pero mantengo abierto un archivo de Text Edit en el fondo de mi escritorio, y cada vez que encuentro algo increíble o interesante para mostrarles, lo escribo inmediatamente. Y me encanta. Me encanta compartir cosas con ustedes nerds, porque son las mismas cosas que compartiría y hablaría con mis amigos mientras tomamos un café o almorzamos. Así que ahora estamos todos, los 160, almorzando y hablando AL MISMO TIEMPO hahaha no broma, hablemos uno a la vez.

UPCOMING PROJECTS

This past two weeks have been super nice. I mean, with ups and downs like any other week, but I’ve been working in personal protects only, which makes me super happy. I’m trying to keep developing new products for my Etsy shop like stickers, planner products and more prints. Right now I’m doing research, specially with stickers. I’m obsessed with asian stickers and how cute and tiny they are. I wonder if I could do the same format but with my illustrations. You could use them for planners, journals, diaries, school, uni and so many things! Any thoughts?

Also I’ve been filming and planning this month’s content on youtube and my blog. By the way, any questions or suggestions for videos or posts are more than welcome. My favourite videos or posts have always been answers to questions from you guys, so if I can help in any way in your illustration/career adventure, let me know!

Estas últimas dos semanas han sido muy lindas. O sea, con altos y bajos como toda semana, pero he podido trabajar en mis proyectos personales, cosa que me pone muy feliz. He tratado de seguir desarrollando nuevos productos para mi tienda Etsy, como stickers, productos para organizarse y más impresiones. Ahora estoy investigando stickers! Estoy obsesionada con los típicos stickers asiáticos, lo bellos y pequeñitos que son. Me pregunto si podré hacer el mismo formato pero con mis ilustraciones. Se podrían usar para agendas, organizadores, diarios, colegio, universidad y tantas otras cosas! Alguna idea?

También he estado grabando y organizando el contenido de este mes para youtube y mi blog. A todo esto: toda pregunta o sugerencia para próximos videos o posts que tengan, son más que bienvenidos! Mis videos favoritos siempre han sido respuestas a preguntas hechas por ustedes, así que si puedo ayudarlos de alguna forma en su aventura en el mundo de la ilustración o carrera en general, háganmelo saber!

UPCOMING CONTENT

Next week, I’ll upload a video about one of my favourite graphic novels: Jane, The Fox and Me. I’ve a little section on my channel called Awesome Books, and I can’t believe I haven’t talked about it before. Every time I feel down or uninspired I go through the pages of that book; Isabel Arsenault’s work is absolutely stunning.  

And the week after Valentine’s Day I’ll film a video about my organisation-planning system! Finallyyy! There’s so so many people asking me about this! hahaha For me is like a normal thing, but I guess people want to know exactly what I do to stay in one piece, while juggling with a lot of projects.

La próxima semana subiré un video sobre una de mis novelas gráficas favoritas: Jane, El Zorro y Yo. Tengo una pequeña sección en mi canal llamado awesome Books, y no puedo creer que no haya hablado de este aun. Cada vez que me siento triste o poco inspirada, hojeo las páginas de ese libro; el trabajo de Isabel Arsenault es absolutamente maravilloso.

Y la semana después de San Valentín grabaré un video sobre mi sistema de organización, POR FIN! Hay tanta gente que me lo había pedido! hahahaha Para mi ya es algo habitual, pero supongo que hay un par que de todas formas quieren saber cómo me mantengo en una pieza al mismo tiempo que hago malabares con muchos proyectos a la vez.

Nick Offerman reads tweets from young female celebrities I arrived super late to the Parks And Rec party. Ed and I finished the last season a couple of weeks ago, and since we can’t let go the series, we’re trying to extend the experience as hard as I can. Ps.
