If it makes you feel any better, most pirates weren't going to pay in the first place and you can also get new customers from them? Doesn't make it right but it's something? Either way, it just really feel shitty, sorry man. :(

Hmmm... I guess it's too much for people to understand that artists are people too and to support an artist you appreciate goes a long way to helping them continue and develop their art.

Wow that's actually shocking to hear a channel staff respond like that. All artists who own rights to their content has every right to have it deleted asap after a request. That's just awful customer service.

For him to do this, I think he would have to copyright every single one of his works. That is time consuming and not cheap. I have no idea what his country's stance on copyright is, but it's hard to enforce. Even if he did do strikes, someone else could just upload it somewhere else again. It's like paying wack a mole but he doesn't have a team of lawyers and people browsing the web working for him. :-(
