I own a Chevy 3500 express. It sits. Going nowhere for months. 12 mpg gas $5.00+ a gallon, fact of life. Other fact I’m retired. I need to haul stuff once in a while. I drive a Prius V, compromise, of course. But, I have next to no income. Traveling more than 400 miles a week, I’d love an EV. One I can afford that is as comfortable and hauls stuff when I need to haul stuff. The Chevy will stay where it is

Say it this way: The Tesla has a mode "H" (Hold) and P," (Park). The Tesla automatically goes into H when the car stops.
