Special Announcement: New and updated Patron benefits (Patreon)

Greetings, Family! We come before you today with some exciting news about new upcoming benefits for the congregation. We have a lot to tell you about, so buckle up!

1. New Tiers
Several faithful, devoted members of the congregation have asked us how they might do more to support our work, and we have discussed in the Fellowship Hall what rewards might heap themselves upon those who can do so. So today we have added three new tiers for those who can further pledge themselves:

Keepers of the Green ($50)
Servants of the Inner Dark ($75)
The Council of Unseen Elders ($100)

2. New Rewards
What might those who tithe at these new levels receive, you may ask? Oh much, Family, they will be well rewarded. But they are not the only ones who shall reap the benefits of Those Who Walk Unseen. The new benefits we announce today include:

• Tier-Level discount codes for our new TeePublic merch shop (launches today!)
• Access to our exclusive, Patrons-only Discord for periodic live Q&A chats
• Access to our exclusive, Patrons-only private Discord for scripted Patrons-only live storytelling events (like the Wolf Sisters, but just for Patrons)
• Updated swag for tiers that receive physical rewards (more on that later)
• First-look / beta access to upcoming OGoA projects (such as the OGoA TTRPG that is currently in the planning stages) 
• Access to our upper-level Patrons-only Discord for exclusive live events and TTRPG sessions DMed by Steve or Cam
• Cameo-style services provided once a year by Steve 
• Character naming — have an in-show side character named for you or by you!

3. Changes to physical rewards (merch / swag)
We have revamped our plan for those who join at tiers that include physical swag, starting today. Because of the work needed to produce and mail t-shirts (which, as many of you have noticed, Patreon does not make easy for creators, and we are only three people), we are discontinuing the t-shirt option as of today.

To be clear:

IF YOU PLEDGED AT THE $20 LEVEL BY AUGUST 31, 2020 AND ARE PLEDGED FOR 2 MONTHS, YOU WILL RECEIVE A T-SHIRT. 

That has not changed, and will not change. For those members who joined us yesterday (welcome, Family!) or those who updated their pledges to the $20 tier yesterday, as long as you remain at this tier through October 31, you will get a shirt. We are currently working on getting the next batch of shirts ready to ship now.

For everyone pledging at $15 and above, you will receive goodies in the mail, such as the pins we recently posted, the patches we are sending out, buttons, stickers... and other special talismans we are currently in the process of crafting... but we will speak no more of that now. 

You will get stuff in the mail, and it will be awesome. It just won't be anything we have to sort by size or other individual customizations. 

Buuuuut... we know everyone loves shirts, so you will also get tier-level discount codes! Everyone who has pledged or will pledge $5 or more will have access to our Patreon discount codes (each tier will have its own code, and those will be provided in a separate post). And yes, you can use these codes on any purchase from our new shop, not just shirts. 

4. Patron-exclusive merch!
You may be wondering why we're moving our store from Threadless to TeePublic. There are a number of reasons, and one of the most important is that our new shop at TeePublic will allow us to offer more to our Patreon family. We are working with our account rep at TeePublic to offer new designs that will only be available to Patrons. More information on this coming soon!

5. So which tiers get what?
Here's a handy breakdown:

Sleepwalkers ($1)
You  walk unspeaking and unseeing. You give what you can and are rewarded  your fair share of the light. You have our undying thanks… and we do mean undying.

Digital only rewards, which may include  wallpapers, special Patreon-only posts and announcements, and other  boons transmitted through the ether.

We Know You From Church ($5)
We see you, Family. Your tithe  helps keep the lights off.  You never  skip the collection plate and you never ask questions. You’ll be blessed  with digital tokens of our thanks and early access to the voices.

• A tier-level discount code for our merch shop
• Early*, ad-free access to regular season episodes

Not Blood Kin But Almost ($10)
Our kinship is almost as close as blood. We’ve slept beside you on the  floor at your mamaw’s house. If the noises start outside, we’ll go with  you to look. We know you keep fresh batteries in the flashlight, and  where we’re going tonight, we’re gonna need it.

Blood Kin ($15)
We share a bond that requires attention. We have spilled ichor together.  We have been seen by the queen. One of us will probably have to end the  other.

Must be a member at this tier for two months to receive physical rewards. 

The Covenant of the Black Breath ($20)
The darkest hearts gather here. The void of the inner-dark is heavy in  your lungs, dread ones. We bow to your dedication to stand at the ebon  gates of the underneath and prepare the way for Those Who Sleep Beneath.  We see you, O Vessels, filled to the brim with their loving darkness.  We honor you with the hearts from our own chests, freely given.

Keepers of the Green ($50)
The beings that stand on this side of the veil and tend the garden  gifted to us by this world are called blessed and wise. Bound to your  duties by vow and by blood, you listen for Her voice on the wind and in  the running of streams. You heed her voice in the songs of bears and  stand ready to be the last bulwark against the coming night.

Servants of the Inner Dark ($75)
Some would call you lost. Others would say the darkness had eaten away  your soul like slurry poisoning groundwater. You may stand vacant and  filled with a cold and terrible light on the streets of Barrow, PA. You  might work feverishly at a camp in the Kentucky Hills, gathering a  harvest for Granny White or Elder Henry.  But your work has value. Your  place in the underneath is assured — you will be welcomed home.

• Steve will provide Cameo-style services for you or a loved one ONCE per  calendar year. Imagine Horned Head on your voicemail, or Melvin singing  “Happy Birthday” to your mom. Material must be approved by OGoA, and  requested at least one month in advance. 

Must be a member at  this tier for two months to receive physical rewards or participate in  TTRPG sessions. Must be a member at this tier for three months to  receive custom audio recordings. 

The Council of Unseen Elders ($100)
Every small town has people — sometimes elders, sometimes not — who know  about the things that happen in the black spaces between these  mountains. People who watch and move unseen beneath the shadowed canopy  of The Green. These agents of the beating heart of these mountains stand  in defiance of the rising night-stained tide. We see you among their  number and exalt you into the light of all the Mothers that came before,  so that you might do your noble work.

• Digital rewards including wallpapers, special Patrons-only posts and announcements
• A tier-level discount code for our merch shop
• Early*, ad-free access to regular season episodes
• Access to exclusive, secret stories (like Build Mama a Coffin) only shared with those nearest and dearest to our little black hearts
• Access to our private Discord for periodic Q&A live chats
• Access to our private Discord for scripted Patrons-only live storytelling events
• A deluxe care package including exclusive talismans and sigils, treasures, and offerings of our loyalty dispatched in secret through the post (i.e. physical swag in the mail — we're currently planning the items that will replace the t-shirt, but trust us, you'll dig it)
• Access to exclusive upper level Patrons-only live events on Discord
• Access to our exclusive upper level  Patrons-only Discord for live, TTRPG sessions DMed by Steve or Cam (when available)

• Council members have a guaranteed seat at the table for  TTRPG sessions with Steve or Cam as GM
• Have an in-show side  character named for you or by you. Leave your mark on the OGoA universe!  Names must be approved by Steve and Cam and are subject to alteration.  (It probably goes without saying, but we’re not going to approve silly  names like Hillbilly McBoatface. Seriously.) 

Must be a member at  this tier for two months to receive physical rewards or participate in  TTRPG sessions, three months to receive custom audio recordings, and  four months to claim your character name.
