Now with updated audio featuring Stephanie Hickling Beckman as Miss Darla!

To be a wolf is a thing of spring loaded joy, of black gummed panting  death. Of pack and ground. Torn tendon and blood and broken bones in  feasting abandon beneath a split and howling sky. But to be a wolf with  the mind of mortal man or woman? No-we can’t be trusted with that kind  of power without being broken by it. Not even wise women of The Clutch.  Not even them.

Narrated by Steve Shell
The voice of Miss Darla: Stephanie Hickling Beckman
Intro music: "The Land Unknown," written and performed by Landon Blood
Outro music: "I Cannot Escape the Darkness," written and performed by Those Poor Bastards

I come to this very late, but recuperating from a case of the latest version of “the plague”. Having caught up with all of the regular seasons, and being fortunate enough to have seen The Price of Progress earlier this year, I’m relishing the previous Patreon releases now that I, too, have joined their ranks. Old Gods never disappoints - the storytelling is consistently top notch.

I want to sleep with a transcript of this story underneath my pillow so I may dream of all things strange and wild and true.

So, here's me scrambling around on Friday night , April 4th, trying to learn how to make Discord dance in 15 seconds or less..... And getting nowhere. Can y'all throw me a lifeline, fam'ly?

I'm also from East Tennessee! I'm about 3 hours away from Bakers Gap, though I've never been to that part of East Tennessee before (I don't think 😅). Thank you for putting this up! I missed the live reading, as I had another prior commitment for a gaming night in another Discord channel. Y'all rock!

I grew up in and around Jonesborough, TN. This series has really scuffed up a heap of childhood folklore and campfire memories. Hope some Jack Tales will slip in a some point.

This is my favourite story arc 🖤

I just listened to the first installment. Is it terrible that I want land and I want to call it the Clutch or Wolf Sisters Farm? Amazing story telling! Thanks, y’all!
