Seldom do we really turn out the way we think we would have. You can change a whole lot throughout your life. I don't...ever think you're too young or old to find good things in yourself. To see good in yourself and share it.

I used to be terrible. Just terrible. Left a trail of tears behind me and struggled for so long. I'm still struggling. But I want to be good. Good for you guys...good for myself.

There's so much pain. Don't we deserve a little faith? A little love? I have the rest of my life to repent. And longer still to share that love.

For the longest time, I've struggled with being aro/Ace. Despite my inability to form deep connections with others outside of friendship, I still desired love. Which only made it worse. That's when I found your comics. Seeing all these beautiful stories about humans finding love in the weirdest of places, with creatures most would call monstrous, has made me feel comforted in such an incredible way. And I'll never be able to thank you enough for it. So no matter what, I'll always do my best to support you, as you supported me.

We love and support you, Shane! Or, at least I do, but I'm sure more do. You're an inspiration! I quite liked Boxdog, if you remember that comic (:

Having come out of therapy for today, can't agree more. It was actually you and The Weaver who inspired me in my creative journey: compelling characters and relationships with this soft, simple style. These stories I still think back on and reread on occasion.

I also grew up as a misfit. Don't have any friends and was bullied for being different by other kids and even a teacher in middle school. Grew up hating humans and wanted nothing to do with people. Learning to love people again and I finally stopped hating myself a few years ago. Always loved the theme of "two misfits forming a close friendship" and your work captures that perfectly. The dialogue you create feels real, not manufactured. It obviously comes from experience and a willingness to uplift others hoping to alleviate some of their pain. You're an amazing individual and I look forward to more of your work.

I’ve always thought you were a really good person and even though we’ve been too busy lately I still consider you a friend. I’m glad to support your artwork, and see you as a major inspiration to my own writing. If you ever do want to catch up or just chat about anything to pass some time you can always send a message on Discord if you want.

I've followed your art for many years and want you to know that your work helped me grow trough a lot of rough times. Whenever I felt down and hurt, I would look and read of it to remind myself that even in our darkest hour we don't have to respond to pain with pain. Seeing you work and share the way you do, has often inspired me to share more of myself as well. To try and connect more, to speak more, to try harder. It even got me to start drawing again. In all my years, I have yet to find somone whos work, perseverance and words have pushed me more to better myself. Thank you friend, for all the kindness you provide and know that I greatly appreciate you and your work.
