Good morning my dears!

Well, Black Friday came and went. The last three days have been a mad house of customers, sales, number crunching and great tension. Still, Monday has now arrived and things are looking just a little more peaceful. To keep my sanity and well being however, I decided to sketch out some silly little things over the weekend on my breaks.

Sony Mouse returns and they have friends! It got some chuckles here and there, and I believe we all kind of needed them with the high energy going on. December is right around the corner in a few days, and the heart of Winter is at some of our doorsteps.

Now is a time especially to find greatness in ourselves. Since the mad rush of politics has came and went, a climate of greater animosity has profanley been opened. That does not mean however that any one of ourselves is helpless nor hopeless. It is not a time for us to be turning on one another but holding all the more firm to our sincere convictions.

Some others and myself took time to scrape swaztikas off a bridge in Bellevue near work and neighborhoods. People are wandering, looking for more to believe in. That's why some of them come to the stores we work in. Not just there to shop but to feel better when eye contact is considered rude on the streets. One of our greatest needs right now is sincerity, kindness, patience, and empathy. You can't buy that in any store, or just find it lying around on the sidewalk. If you're with people, I hope you can apperciate them being there.

All of us work real hard. Some of us are sick. Others are burnt out and they're angry. None of us however deserves to be isolated from the attempt to be treated with all the respect and consideration we ourserlves would wish to be treated with. Let's have one excuse today. Just one single excuse to tell ourselves that we can give someone, even just us, a smile.

We'll be having a new roomate during this week. An artist and coder whose luck has turned sour since their arrival in Seattle last month. Their friend and contact down here decided they were only welcome little than a month in their current abode. Hey, some of us know what that's like. So they'll have a spot to call their own here while they continue to look for work and get established. We all need a helping hand sometimes, right?

So hey, I have a lot of things to catch up on today including paying the bills and stocking up on what food I can. I'm hoping to catch a breather here and send the next page of sword breaker your way! Hope you're looking forward to it! :) Until then, enjoy some of these sketches and hopefully they'll give you a smile.
