Experimenting with how I can adapt my existing designs to a magical girl world. They're more magical fashionistas than regular magical girls, so they're more glamorous and mature than the usual anime trope.

The bottom row has the original designs, and the top row is a version designed to make them look more cohesive and more "magical girl"-y. I liked the idea of them having some sort of similar design to build a more distinct Brand ™ . 

One idea I had was that the top row is like their "civilian form" and when they battle each other, they transform into the bottom row. So the fashionable version is like their "battle armor" which would help promote the fashion theme. 

I'm also thinking the clothes would actually be the source of their attacks, so like for the purple girl she can use her collar and heel spikes as weapons. You ever wonder how magical girls have such cute outfits but serve no purpose in their actual attacks other than to look cute? Maybe this would solve that problem lol.

Anyway, definitely open to thoughts on whether you think these would stand out as magical girl designs and otherwise!
