The woman who has moved about as many times as I.

Kenna's most recent move brought her back to Los Angeles, and we have always admired one another from afar. On this specific day, we came together for a first shoot. It was the first shoot I had in a long while and I wanted to just dip my toes in. Thankfully, she was in the same place and really just wanted to get in front of a camera to stretch the muscles, if you will.

It seems that a lot of the people I end up around are one in the same personality type, outgoing, bubbly and fun. Which, is a departure from mine – monotone, reclused and somewhat boring; I am working on it... However, from the second I walked in the door Kenna was welcoming, friendly and just downright hilarious. I could not decide where my attention should go; to her and her endless jokes or to Hank, her adorable sweet little pup. Hank and I fell a little in love that day. Ever since Kylea's passing, I heavily gravitate towards any dog I can get close to.

Kenna and I spent the better part of an hour laughing, shooting and just having fun. It has been a while since I felt so comfortable shooting someone for the first time. Typically, it is filled with nerves and awkward moments of silence. This was not. Enjoy!
