Early Morning Glow With Diana Carolina (Patreon)

It is such a crazy feeling to develop such a bond with someone so quickly, but sometimes personalities just simply mesh and an everlasting friendship is created. That is exactly what happened with Diana. Since meeting and shooting, we have stayed in close contact with one another, both waiting for the next time she is able to come to Los Angeles to create again.

When Diana arrived this day's morning I poured her a glass of cold brew, she gave all of her love to Kylea and we spent the first minutes chatting as she pulled out her outfit options. I knew I wanted to shoot her for the 'Jeans' series, but the rest was up in the air. We first and foremost knocked out the 'Jeans' shoot, shot some soft portraits in front of a white seamless and then took a break to once again sip on our coffees, caffeinated and connect. Diana had thrown on these bottoms in the interim of shooting looks and as I was looking through the Polaroids we had shot thus far she took it upon herself to sit in front of the mirror and get the quintessential mirror selfie in my studio. I can say that there has not being a single model that has come into my studio that has not taken a selfie in this mirror. As she sat there, filling up her phone's memory with selfies, I looked up from the analogue and grabbed my digital. What simply started off as a selfie session turned into a beautiful and simple look with the bright yet soft glow of morning light. Enjoy!
