I have great news. The Secret Name Storyline compilation is finally ready for release. The second set of proofs turned up at Global HQ last week and the errors I could not un-see have been eliminated. I’m delighted to (finally) share this book with you.

Bart came up with the idea of linked story behind our Eventures and Dungeon Backdrop lines and I think the first in the series has come out tremendously well. I hope you (and your players) agree.

About The Secret Name

To know a being’s true name is to hold power over it. The arcane fetters binding a summoned creature to a conjurer’s command are tied to its name. Celestials, fiends and even gods must yield to the sovereignty of their one, true name. Hence, these mighty beings often go by many epithets, ever jealously guarding the word which could shackle them to another’s will. But what if the secret name of a god were to become known? Such power was never meant for mortal men to wield…

This Storyline presents the GM with a ready-made Storyline linking Scarlock Hill, Craghollow Mine and The Shard Isles.

Use the notes and suggestions herein to quickly and easily craft a memorable mini-campaign for your players.

Where's My Stuff?

As always, by the time you get this patrons at the $5 and up levels should have a message from me containing the special secret download codes for this week's book along with their discount print codes. Just drop them into your browser and you should be good to go. If you have any problems, drop me a line and I'll sort it out for you.

The Gameatory

This week on the Gameatory, I talk about the genesis of Ashlar and Gloamhold and reveal why you should expand your text.

Many of my posts at the Gameatory are for everyone. A few—mainly pertaining to things my players should not know—are member-only. Sign up for a paid account to see everything (including insights and secrets about the Ashland campaign setting) and join our exclusive Slack channel. I hope to see you there!

Thank You

Thank you for helping Raging Swan Press survive the pandemic. We remain standing and designing because of you. I much appreciate your support. Thank you.

Have an epic weekend, and remember: Everything is Better with Tentacles—particularly Secret Names Not Made For Mortals to Know.
