This week, Raging Swan Press has released two more free "20 Things" list. Themed around the ocean and waterborne travel I designed them for my own campaign. Typically the PCs got sidetracked and I've yet to use them myself!

I hope you find them useful.

I've got a growing list of ideas for "20 Things" style articles, but I'm always after more. (So leave a message in the comments below and I'll add them to my list!)

Also, over on my blog, I give you four reasons you should have a copy of all the PCs' character sheets and give a look at my first ever character's sheet!

Questions & Answers

I had several questions recently about the 20 Things articles and I thought I'd post the answers here:

Q: Can you tell me which 20 Things articles have already appeared in a Raging Swan product?

A: All the 20 Things articles appear on raging swan.com first. Subsequently, I include at least one in each GM's Miscellany and I send two a month to be included in the Pathways magazine produced by Rite Publishing.

Q: Will you be collecting all the 20 Things articles together and releasing a book?

A: Yes (eventually). I would love to do a 20 Things book, but I don't want to rush it. I think the book would need to be of a decent size to be useful. By decent size, I mean it should probably have at least 100 distinct articles. Given I release 2 articles a week, I should be looking at releasing such a book around June or July of next year.

Q: How do you write the 20 Things articles?

I write the articles themselves in Evernote--which as I've banged on before is a great gamer's tool. I open a note for each subject and then make additions to it whenever inspiration strikes. Evernote is a super tool for this kind of work, and if you haven't tried it before I highly recommend you download it--it's free after all!

Have a super weekend, everyone!
