It's an absolutely packed release week this week. Not only do we have the monthly 20 Things instalment--this time you are delving into archives & libraries--we also have our first Dungeon Backdrop compilation. I've used three of the Dungeon Backdrops in my own campaign and they've been a life-saver. As the characters wander off in a random direction, I've got a ready-made adventure locale ready to plonk down in their path. ("Plonk down" is a technical designer's phrase which means: to carefully place in just the right spot).

I hope you get as much use out of the Dungeon Backdrops as I have.

On the subject of using these Dungeon Backdrops the print edition of these compilations sport much thicker paper than normal. These books are designed to be written in! So get modifying, tweaking and designing--make the dungeons your own!

(And--welcome to our new patrons--Giuseppe Rodriguez, Jessica Barbera and Travis--who have recently joined us!)

About Dungeon Dressing

You are a GM, but you are busy. You want to write your own modules, but you just don’t have the time. And you don’t want to use commercial modules. You want to make your campaign your own. That’s where the Dungeon Backdrop line comes in! Each Dungeon Backdrop presents a fully fleshed out and lovingly detailed self-contained dungeon ready for you to use as you see fit. Stock the dungeon with your own monsters (and—perhaps—their treasure), decide their back story and you are good to go.

Every Dungeon Backdrop is carefully designed to be easily inserted into almost any fantasy campaign. Dungeon Backdrops: we describe the dungeon, you add the monsters (and the treasure).

Where's My Stuff?

As always, by the time you get this you should have a message from me containing the special secret download codes for these books. Just drop them into your browser and you should be good to go. If you have any problems, just drop me a line and I'll sort it out for you.

I've also uploaded zip files of all the dungeon maps featured in GM's Miscellany: Dungeon Backdrops for your convenience.

Thank You!

As always, thank you so much for being a part of our Patreon campaign. You enable us to pay our freelancers an excellent word rate for excellent work. I couldn't do that without you! I hope you get epic use out of our books and resources. If you have any suggestions for future supplements, please leave a note in the comments below.

Good luck with your games!
