🍃 New sona, base fill ins, and mental health update (Patreon)

Hello friends! I’m back again. I posted an update on Thursday for my sparkle dog patreons letting them know what’s up with me mentally and stuff, n I’ll be lightly updating on that for everyone in this post.

but, first here is some art talk! I haven’t drawn anything properly since Tuesday I believe, so it’s been about a week, ive never really taken such a long break from art, I guess I’m burnt out and I didn’t realise it until everything came crashing down, so I decided to just embrace that and take time to myself. The first drawing in this post is the first thing I’ve properly drawn, and it’s of my new fursona Charlie! If you follow me on Toyhouse you’d have seen Charlie and all of these refs already just with the huge watermark over them, so I figured I’d throw them all into this post so everyone can see them without the watermark. I used a base by my best friend Foolrot to make all of these, and it’s pay to use so you guys can grab it yourself!! I couldn’t recommend it more, their bases are always incredible and this one is my fav thing to use at the moment. It’s available for. $35 up on their Payhip, which is just Foolrot!

But yeah, I got a bit distracted there. Charlie! I’ve wanted a raccoon fursona for a while and I’ve tried to make ones in the past but I couldn’t connect, so I gave it another go and Im really positive about Charlie. She’s one of my surface level charas, so she’s not very deep or anything, if I’m honest she kinda just harbours all my anxiety and stuff. I also did a lot of work on my other characters as well! I used this base to make some make shift refs for characters of mine that don’t have refs currently, and I also used it to redesign my characters Pepper and Tia who were in pretty dire need of a new lick of paint. I love their new designs!

so, now for the mental health update.
Overall, for the last week I have literally just thrown myself into my characters and doing up my toyhouse. it’s really been one of the main things keeping me going, and It’s been the only social media I’ve really been active on, and I’ve deleted Twitter off of my phone for the time being to help with my anxiety, and it’s done wonders. I’ll re download it when I feel ready. With that being said though, I’m at least able to get out of bed now and the last two days I’ve shown some improvement. I’m looking after myself still, and I am gonna be focusing on my queue again and getting started on sketching commissions and such. I appreciate my commissioners patience so so much, thank you all for being so wonderful, and a big thank you to my sparkle dogs who commented on my original MH update post. I was touched and overwhelmed, and I did sit and just cry while reading through them. Thank you all for everything you do, I appreciate you all to ends of the earth.
