Good morning (afternoon?) I've been thinking about what Greg Miller said about Patreon all week, specifically the way he described it as a 'subscription' service. I think that is genius phrasing. Not only is it a pretty accurate description, but it's a phrase everyone is familiar with, even those that don't know what Patreon is. What do you think of this phrasing? I think the only push needed on main shows is 'Subscribe to MinnMax on patreon.com/MinnMax and for just $2 a month, you can join our community discourse, ask questions to read on the show, play in Trivia Tower, and more!" Once in the community, I think the higher tiers advertise themselves. Just trying to think of the simplest pitch for a new viewer.
