[Route 110] Polarity Twins (Patreon)

Plusle & Minun are here!

Not much to say about these two since they have a pretty basic design. They have the same outfits, although their main outfit (slot 1) and their secondary (slot 2) are reversed between the two, with appropriate colors (so Minun's secondary slot is Plusle's main outfit, but colored Blue).

There are some minor differences between the face/body of them, Minun being slightly slimmer and flatter than Plusle, and other minor adjustments to scales and eyeliner/highlights/etc.

The only thing I wanted to do, but ended up not, was adding some type of Positive / Negative indicator on them. I wanted to apply it to their iris/highlight, but it didn't look good (Minun looked like a weird BUG thing). I wanted to apply it to their cheeks, like the actual Pokemon has, but there were no good "makeup" options to apply them. Adding them directly to the face with an overlay also didn't look good, because of stretching.

So, we'll do without it. I suppose it never HAS to be that obvious.. The sprite has them marked on their pom-poms, but that's not something we can do here.

They look fine either way.

Ugh, you ever just wake up with a splitting migraine that refuses to go away? That was pretty much me all day since I woke up. It's a good thing I even managed to get these out today. They were mostly done yesterday, but I like taking a quick second pass on them for quality. Which meant that I ended up changing the yellow that they were using from a less-saturated yellow to a paler one to match the sprites.. and I think they came out better for it.

Anyways, next update is Thursday. Expect a new update every 2 days for the rest of this month, and beyond.
