Karen is here alongside Houndour & Houndoom!

God, Karen is so fucking hot. I always had a crush on her, especially because she was a pretty tough challenge. So, of course, I had to put lots of time into her - making her juuuust right. In fact, I drummed this little image up so you can see the comparison:

She has several overlays to match the clothing, even down to her pants (which were very slightly edited, as well as having the knee ribbons removed through material editor). From her high heels to the weird oval gold plate things around her waist, I tried to recreate her as close as possible. Is she 100% 1:1 ratio perfect? No, unfortunately her shirt has 4 bands, but I mocked it up with some gold armbands. Other than that, yes, she is perfect in every way.

Still, on the topic of Karen, technically speaking THIS was the version I fell in love with:

Her original GS sprite, of course, with it's limited.. 2 colors, excluding white and black, left Karen with only a red dress and her tanned skin. While I couldn't produce the tan skin without making a whole 'nother character (...I think?), I did put some effort in to recreate her sprite above.

That's pretty nice.

Anyways, moving on to Houndour/Houndoom...

What's that? MORE GOTH GIRLS? YOU BET YOUR ASS!

You know I couldn't resist. I stayed somewhat faithful regarding the sprites (as much as possible, at least), the usual applies here - overlays, material edits, etc, etc. I've radically increased the production time for some of these. Quality over quantity, right?
