In Extremis- Thank you so much for another great reaction, Jay! I enjoy this episode a lot! First of all... Like I mentioned in my comments under the previous episode's post, it's so sad that Cal Beecher is killed at the end of the last episode. After all of Carter's worries and time thinking that he was corrupt like all of the other cops and detectives involved with HR, it turns out that he was a good man, and was killed for getting too close as he worked to investigate Detective Szymanski's frame up and murder, which was also another tragic death too. And I feel so bad for Carter, because she cares so much for Beecher, and guilty because she didn't trust him until it was too late. But I love Carter's determination throughout this episode to begin her investigation into Beecher's murder. I also love Fusco's role throughout this episode. After he has been very protective of Carter, this time it was Carter's turn to protect him from HR as they finally try to take Fusco down. And I love that Carter even goes so far as to dig up and steal Stills' body with Bear's help, where Fusco had buried it in Oyster Bay way back in the Pilot episode after Reese had killed him to protect the lawyer and the innocent former convict. Fusco has certainly proven himself to be a good man and a character that I have grown to love. But I think that for the fans of this show who might not feel the same way about him, I think this episode should most certainly prove just how much he's changed and that he is one hundred percent loyal to Reese, Finch, and Carter. Fusco could easily have snitched on Reese in order to try to save himself, given that Reese killed Stills and put the other dirty cop in prison. But he doesn't. And I love this about him. Sadly, Fusco doesn't believe he's a good man any longer, and I feel so badly for him because he was pulled into becoming a corrupt cop at a time when he was most vulnerable after these corrupt detectives befriended him, having given him a friend when he most needed it upon being thrown out of the house by his wife, who had threatened to take his son away from him too. I just feel so bad for him. And in regards to Carter and her involvement in helping Fusco... I understand why she struggles so much with choosing to help him, which she inevitably does upon hearing Reese's words to her on the phone towards the end. Carter has definitely grown to care deeply for Reese in spite of the missteps Reese and Finch have made in their alliance. And upon Carter hearing John admit his faults and mistakes, I think it's what allows her to see past Lionel's mistakes as well, because deep down... she does know her partner and she cares about him as well. I love it!! As for the main storyline involving Reese helping Dr. Nelson to solve his own murder before he dies from being poisoned with radiation... I enjoy it a lot! It's very sad. And I love Reese's determination to help this doctor. Not only to solve who had him killed, but also to help put his affairs in order before he dies. I also just really love that Reese helps Nelson to be able to confront the men who had him killed and to make things right between him and his daughter. And then... The biggest shock to me in this episode, is seeing Reese standing beside Nelson's killer with a wine bottle in his hands once blood begins to drip from the killer's nose, revealing that Reese had slipped the same poison into the killer's drink, showing him basically murder the man. It is wrong of Reese to do, but at the same time... This ending is oh so satisfying, knowing the killer is going to suffer the same fate as the man he killed first. Overall... This was a really good episode, so thank you again, my friend! Like always... I can't wait for more reactions from you to come! Until then... Sincerely, Heidi

I’ve been holding off from saying it cause it’s your channel and you can react however you want to but every time you check IMDb I get worried you’re going to spoil yourself. PoI is a show where it does have cases of the week and characters won’t return but the wider story arc is interwoven throughout.
