2021-12-18 17:50:37 The goa'uld Heru'ur is exactly the one that 2 or 3 episodes ago got his ass kicked by Thor and his chariot/very advanced alien ship! From wiki: The actor of George Hammond(the general) died from a heart attack in June 2008, making his appearance in the 2008 direct-to-DVD film Stargate: Continuum his last. That however is long ways away. The movie is sometime after the end of the SG-1 series. Hammond is not in any of the two spin off series after anyways. They have different characters and casts.

That doesn't mean he is there the entire series ... in the same role... This is a 10 season series. A lot of things can happen in 10 seasons...

Yeah that's why I used the word imply rather than confirm. The more ambiguous version would be to not mention if or when the actor appears in which part of the series at all in any capacity. But frankly I'm sure he doesn't actually care at all. If it were me reading that, I'd mind. But we are all different people with our own individual judgements on what is and isn't possible spoiler territory. I've never heard him state either way on the subject. I ain't making a big thing of it or anything. Just amused me is all.
