Hey guys, this is another monthly exclusive show to Patreon by request from KittyGuardian!  I just watched the movie over the weekend to refresh myself from when i watched it back in theaters in 1994 when I was 12 lol  I remembered nothing so it was a fun ride.  Looking forward to the connections it has and where the story goes.  Let me know what you guys think!

1994 was the movie. 1997 is this first episode. I think this is how long of a time has passed. Even the solders in the beginning said no one was coming down there anymore. Even they said they have started already transferring personnel from there for a while. 1994 to 1997 is about 3 years! Wiki says "The plot of Stargate SG-1 picks up a year after the conclusion of the events recounted in the original feature film". So I guess they wanted it to be an undetermined amount of time. To me about 3 years looks fitting with the story and character's age progression, or lack there of? I checked. Skaara is the same actor for both. He is a child tho and they grow and change fast at that age. Explain why he doesn't look exactly how he did 3 years prior in the movie. Unsure yet about the others! After re-watching the episode. The general said "It's been over a year. Are you sure you are up for it?" I guess in the series is a year and irl it was 3 years between both!

Welcome to the rabbit hole.

No way! Both Fringe and SG1 in 2021! 🤯

Cool, I've always wanted a reason to rewatch SG1. The Stargate franchise is huge, so if you end up liking it you could be in for a very long ride. PS: Happy New Year!

Actually I did check the other day. MLP has 222 episodes and SG1 214. Then there is Stargate Atlantis with 100. However that is long ways away! Still MLP has the most episodes for a single series!

Oh my god, really?! Both SG1 and BSG at the same time? You just keep giving me reasons to keep giving to your patreon, lol.

Yeah, Richard Dean Anderson played MacGyver in the original series.
