Alex is the perfect asshole when he isn't trying to fuck and cheat on Jess. Plus I think his new power, plus the time him and Finn stood up for the flying kid, he feels more noble and is a better person for it. And Rudy 2 wasn't remembering a full life to old age, but he was remembering his childhood which he shares with Rudy 1. Plus, yea, he's old, so, they went with dementia. Also season 5 is definitely my favorite. it's the funniest and also extremely emotional. And every main character is pretty much always likable.
