Hello all!

Please take the time and read it. Your objective opinions are very important.

BLENDER IS VERY NICE <3

Except for Tracer and Dimitrescu animations, I have never done main animation with Blender before. I've always used Unreal Engine 5.

In terms of image quality and details, Blender is both fast and easy to find and use ready-made free content. My animations in the last two months are an example of this. I loved this.

So, what do you think about the animations I made with Unreal Engine 5 months ago and before?

WE HAVE A PROBLEM :/

But there is a problem here. That is, it is almost impossible for me to use ready-made Motion Capture (animation file of real human movements) animations in Blender.

Before this, I had made do with Maya trial versions. Preparing animation with Motion Capture technology was very easy and effective.

If it wasn't for this, I couldn't make the city animation. Or I couldn't do things like walking, running, jumping, high heel walking.

Of course, you need to edit them in detail. The ready-made animation only provides basic movements. It would be perfect with a good arrangement.

Most of the animation for Ada Wong and Leon was done using Motion Capture. I used moves I found on the internet. Ada Wong stomp scene, Leon walking with a gun scene, Ada Wong high heel walking scene..

Because making these animations manually from scratch is quite laborious and time-consuming. While you can spend days working on a simple walking animation, working with files taken from real people is very smooth.

Example: Dimitrescu Pressure Wine, Giantess of Egypt, Ada Wong - Leon, College Massage Club series etc..

SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM -_-

To obtain a Maya license and use Motion Capture animations for some special scenes and animations with Unreal Engine.

LATEST IDEAS :*)

I really liked the Blender image quality and system. Tracer animation was very smooth and effective. So is Dimitrescu. This is okay.

However, I realized that I would have to use Maya when it was necessary to use special animations and environments. Unreal Engine and Maya work perfectly.

But is it worth it? Should I? What do you think?

I think unreal engine is the way to go. You can notice the minor differences in movement from blender. Although their still really good, Unreal might be better with movement.

Honestly don’t know how create any type of animation with any of those programs. But I’m sure as you polish your skills more and more it’ll be obvious which program gives you the best results with the least amount of headache. Just be the worst critic you can on your own work. But honestly I’ve been loving the work you’ve been putting out recently.

I would use Unreal Engine as this is likely going to be the dominant CGI engine in the market (professional and consumer) moving forward.

But as the render quality Unreal not better than Blender for characters. And a lot of powerfull tools i can use. UE also great but the pipeline is not easy. I got +100 members after using Blender :) For example, check Dimitrescu animations. Pressure Wine and Latest one. You will see ;)
