Hi Guys!

Just a quick post before I drop off to bed for the night - just about got it uploaded so it's there for you guys to spool through at your leisure!

There are some bits that reference the pinned comment and templates, they will be uploaded tomorrow as soon as I can :)

EDIT: Updated the video to the final version (so comments and likes will have reset if you click through, I'll be deleting the old video soon I'm just giving people a chance to see my replies to comments!)

I've also attached the templates to this post now. Something I'm going to mention in the pinned comment but I will also mention here related to the templates is that I've trimmed the templates back a bit 1/8" on each side of the road, compared to the ones I show me drawing in the video.

I've done this because in the video I failed to take into account the extra space taken up by the dead strip of grass added at the edges, so it ended up being slightly thinner than I intended - this shouldn't be a problem with the templates. Or the dimensions in the pinned comment...but I'll get to that today!

Flat 'Hovering' Roads Suck - Paving The Way For Better D&D!

Roads are another one of those D&D crafting rites of passage, but I've never been satisfied with the typical technique of placing roads like other D&D scatter, on top of battlemats or boards. I just...don't like the look, and it jars with the look of the whole scene. I'd almost rather there not be a road shown, than show a floating road, is what I'm saying. That was part of the inspiration behind crafting these wilderness tiles rather than using a traditional battlemat - it gives you the ability to sink terrain like roads downwards, rather than have them floating or hovering above the ground on a base of their own...it's always just seemed weird to me :) The static grass really helps achieve this effect, and I can highly recommend it, but if you did want to do this with flock or other materials for whatever reason, you could get an different, but still nice effect by just carving the road deeper, and letting the foam provide the height for the grass. I thought I'd mention that somewhere as I know not everyone has access to the same crafting materials everywhere in the world! ⚔️ SUPPORT BY JOINING THE ARCHIVE ON PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/RPArchive 🛠️ SUPPORT BY BUYING EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS: http://bit.ly/RPEquipment Everything I use should be linked on the equipment list above, so it's also a library of where to find stuff... 🔔 Subscribe and click the bell for more D&D terrain! 👍 If you found this helpful, help me out and like the video up there! Brilliant! :) thank you so much!! :) Just a small thing I noticed, you mention the sizes and details of the tiles as beeing in the pinned comment, but there is no pinned comment, could this be?

/sigh, for some reason the comment didn't pin... It was there though :) not sure why, I definitely pinned it....
