Nudist "colonies" haven't been around since the term died out in the 1960s. Any such places now or since then are called nudist (or naturist) resorts, camps, parks, clubs, or communities, depending on the features and amenities of the location. Did those other members actually call it a colony? Regardless, as a naturist for over 26 years I can tell you with all certainty that (1) those guys are morons for sitting around naked in the cold, and (2) whatever statement they were trying to make was theirs alone and not shared by the huge majority of naturists around the world. There's a common philosophy among naturists/nudists: "Clothed when practical, nude when possible." That means, when it is practical to do so for protection from hazards or comfort from bad weather, clothing is a practical tool to be used for that purpose. For all other times when clothing is not necessary, nude is the way to go because it's our most natural state. Even at a nudity-required naturist resort I visited years ago, they had the policy that if the weather just plain sucked it was fine to put on clothes when outdoors. Naturism as a lifestyle and hanging out nude with others is wonderfully comfortable and very liberating. When I overcame the terrible phobias I had about nudity when I was about 14, it was the most exhilarating and liberating experience of my life. Hey 2, I'm actually a little bit surprised that you spent time not only with other nudists but as a nudist yourself because of various things I've heard you say over the years on episodes of 2 Sense and other things. It was kind of my impression that you didn't like nudity, whether yourself or seeing others naked. Guess I was wrong! I'm really loving the music in this game! Haven't mentioned that before. I just noticed that when you go underwater the music gets all muffled as if hearing it under water. Good attention to detail. It seems pearlpeas are a fictional food for this game, but the name reminds me of cream peas with pearl onions. I haven't had those in probably over 25 years!

Yep! That's how I've lived as much as possible ever since I got over those terrible fears about nudity, especially after I moved away from home (since it's mainly my parents who imposed those fears on me in the first place). It was practically a debilitating phobia of nudity, but in the spring and summer of 1990 I started experimenting with nudity and was able to overcome it. After I moved away from home I've always been fortunate to have roommates who were completely unfazed about my nudity. Now that I own my own place that's very rural and private I don't have the slightest concern about going outdoors without a stitch on when the weather is warm enough. I have a sign far down the driveway notifying visitors that clothing is optional and nudity may be encountered.
