IT'S VRCHAT TIME! (Patreon)

Hey guys! Sorry for the delay, but it's almost VR hangout time! Every month, we'll have TWO dates (one on the weekend, and one on a week day, for those of you who work on the weekend), where we can go to VRChat and just hang out, talk, play games, chill... whatever! 

The first date is this upcoming Saturday the 16th. 12:00pm Pacific, 3:00pm Eastern, 10:00pm UK, 11:00pm EU... and for Australia, this will be Sunday the 17th at 7:00pm NSW.

The second date will be Tuesday the 19th at the same times.

Send me a secret message when you REQ INVITE. That message is, "April Fool". And we'll hang out! Hope to see you there!

So far, this message has been for people who already have VRChat and know how to use it. For those of you who are new, or confused, keep on reading...

If you don't have VRChat, or don't know what to do, I'll give you a quick tutorial. 

VRChat does not NEED VR to run on your computer. It's free, and it's on Steam. So... 

• Go to Steam and download VRChat. Do whatever it asks you to get signed up and ready to go.

I know there's a sign up process, but it's probably changed since I signed up for it, so just get your fuzzy butt in there and look around a little bit. Explore the menus and get familiar. Okay, got a good handle on it?

• Send a friend invite to me!

Go to your menu and click on "Social". 

On the top right, you'll see a search feature. Click on that and search for me! My name in VRChat is "2 Gryphon". And here's what my icon looks like, to make sure you get the right birb.

Click "friend" and just wait! (Please be patient. I may have a lot of people asking at first. If you want to get ahead of the game, sign in and do a friend request early!)

• Send an Invite Request!

Now that I'm your friend, you can find me in your "Online Friend" listing. Click on me and hit "Req Invite".

• Make sure to send the password!

Every month, there will be a new password. (Look to the top of this message to see what it is this month.) Now, you have to make sure you send it to me! The reason I do this is because lots of people send invite requests to me when I'm in VR, and I want this to be a private party, just for us! Here's how you do it...

When you hit "Req Invite", you'll see this screen...

Click "add message". When you do this, it will give you a list of pre-printed messages, like this.

Hit the "edit" button, next to a message, and write in the password.

Now, hit "send!" ...And taa-daa! There you go! Make sure you check your notifications! That's where it'll show up when I accept.
