Coming in late in the game, I'm not sure what -exactly- is with your leg, but you mentioned sciatica... and trouble sleeping. And I was reminded of the time I wanted to just cut muscles out of my leg because they hurt so bad... With me; what presented initially as potential sciatica, is actually piriformis. So in order to get sleep, I learned some really interesting yoga poses that I do through the day, and then before bed. I got them from my acupuncturist, who helped narrow down the difference between the spinal vs nerve related pain. My problem is the nerve runs -through- my right glute rather than under it. So ... my quadriceps on my right leg have been in a state of tension/fatigue for about 2 years. Which is aggravated by the fact I stand on concrete for work, and it doesn't really 'relax' like people with ... more walky / sitty jobs. But that's just my experience. I like my acupuncturist, it's a nice hour nap in a quiet place after having all the muscles of my spine forcibly relaxed.

2. My brother. Nice to see you making a vlog again. But when it comes to physical therapy, you are full. of. shit. Of course it hurts at the start, no one is saying it's not. But those exercises are designed to help you keep your mobility. The more you do them, the less it hurts. And when you do them long enough, they don't hurt any longer. If you don't do any PT exercises, your leg will start to lose range over time and you'll need more than just a cane to get around.
