When I went to my first furry con this year I brought my folks and they actually had a nice time. I haven't got them to the point of going to panels, but they enjoyed the atmosphere.

I honestly think that, if it were viable, you should be made envoy of all furries to the world. No one is more sensible about the whole thing than you. It would do the fandom good.
