Perfect timing for my lunch break!

Mariana

eve🐱🏀

This We Are Bulletproof Part 2 performance is so special to me. When they first debuted, they didn't have any money at all and used to perform this song wearing some cheap-ass fake Versace printed shirts and here they are six years later performing it in full real Versace gear! Also Jungkook used to be a sub-rapper, so you'll get a lot more of than once you get to the Skool Trilogy!

Joana Alves

Still hoping for some Billie reaction at every notification.. Thank you for posting this. Enjoy your break! ☺️

Aishwarya Majumdar

omg not the 2C4S bulletproof spoiler!! 😦

I love looking back at the lyrics for early Bangtan because you can see how much they manifested to where they are now. At that point they were getting some hate, but didn’t know how much they would be getting but the boldness they already had and drive to overcome. Like calling themselves the ‘final boss’ (the lyrics on the vid you watched said kings, whichever) in we are bulletproof Pt 2 when they were still rookies and from a small company? And they actually became the final boss … and at the time they couldn’t even fathom past Korea and now the whole world knows them?? Like what?? Impossible I’m possible The ‘period’ is the apostrophe. Just a link to this song in doolset for easier access if you hadn’t read them yet and wanted to: https://doolsetbangtan.wordpress.com/2018/06/21/we-are-bulletproof-pt-2/

Awesome BTS picks and great reaction!! I always hold my breath as the 3 J’s part comes up. It’s such a great moment to see a reactor experience it!!

Yukari

I hope someday you will watch their debut performance of We Are Bulletproof. In one documentary, JHope says he practice the bending backwards move so much that he got hurt. You should check out the dance practice too. And Film Out is my favorite Japanese track! Yes, the vocal line kills it. JK’s ad libs are insane! I love listening to Jin sing in Japanese! BTW, JK will be a guest on Suga’s Suchwita in 10 days! And Hobi was the guest in today’s episode! Perhaps someday you can react to all the episodes of Suchwita! Have a nice trip!!!

Yes yes yes to Holy Fuck! That album is amazing you have to listen to the rest of it.

eve🐱🏀

this is why it’s one of my absolutely favorites! literal chills every time i watch this performance. i knew michael’s reaction wouldn’t disappoint 😭

Anonymous

Holy Fuck is such a great album so I really hope you listen to it.

Jeremy Jordan is starring in Little Shop of Horrors off broadway in NY starting next week 👀

Mariana

Hitting my head against a wall because that's what I missed from not checking out that project from Demi!!!!???? I haaave to listen to all of it, that was soooo damn good! Love love loveee every live performance of Film Out, it's my favorite Japanese song from them and they always slay the vocals. We are bulletproof pt2 dance break is sooooo jawdropping superior. We couldn't hear it here but during that break ARMY chants the name of the person dancing in that moment ("Jung Hoseok", followed by "Park Jimin", then "Jeon Jungkook", ending with "BTS" once they all pick up to end the song) those chants always give me chills, they sound like an incantation or something.

jennptx

Thank you for requesting this now to ease Michael into this choreo. If he'd seen it for the first time in the MV, or on their debut stage, we would have lost him for sure 🤣

Bangtan is life

I second this! I’m not a huge fan of metal or hard rock, but this album is really awesome!

Bangtan is life

So Jungkook Jimin and jhope are the original dance line, which is why you will see this paring when it comes to dancing. And they are known as 3J btw 😄🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻

Definitely want a holy fuck reaction!!

Anonymous

yessss to holy fuck reaction! also, Demi did tour the album. I saw them in Houston last November :)

Tara Cabache

Jeremy Jordan is just SO good!

You should absolutely watch Les Mis. A classic and a moving storyline. And Bring Him Home in context is even more moving.

Anonymous

Never seen Jeremy do Bring Him Home and that was absolutely stunning. Les Mis is my all time favorite musical and can confidently say he did this song justice. Jeremy really is a gift to musical theater. Newsies was the first ever musical I got into back when it was only a movie and I was so nervous when it was turned into a Broadway production but Jeremy owned the role of Jack Kelly. I was lucky enough to see it on Broadway with the original cast, including Jeremy. I keep the souvenir cup I got from the show on my desk cause it means so much to me

Lindsay

I think someone commented this already on your recent Blackpink video but if you enjoyed their vlog you absolutely should check out their Netflix special. The girls all do sit down interviews, they talk about how they got involved with the agency and all the time they spent together before their debut, and they also show more about Coachella. Would love to see a reaction to it but you should watch it regardless even if you don't film. :)

Daniel Boynton

You should definitely check out the rest of Holy Fvck! Some of my fave songs weren’t in the lives and it’s an emotional rollercoaster! No spoilers but it serves vocals and lyricism!

Nine Anutza

Les miserable another connection to hugh Jackman since in the movie version he plays the character who sings this sing. I hope you can react to les mis with hugh, Anne Hathaway, Eddie redmayne, and more, it's one of my faves. And for musicals of jeremy I'd love for you to react to newsies (the live version of Broadway like a la hamilton is on disney+ with Jeremy back for that performance) and the last 5 years with Anna Kendrick (the full version is on youtube, haven't found it anywhere else) is so good imo underrated...

Meg

should 1000% listen to holy fvck it’s amazing!! just saw Demi (she did tour very short tho) in Jersey and she was unreal! if you do listen to the album i would say to still listen to the studio version of these songs just because the production of happy ending and eat me really add something that these versions don’t have in my opinion.

Meg

also so random but you steven and caitlin should draft 5sos songs now because that taylor swift draft was everything!!

Meg

rooting for you to get ghost of you in your lineup 🤞

Jelena

Your reaction to Tae's hair in the Film Out performance made me want to see your reaction to Army's roasting that particular hairstyle in one of BTS's live streams :D Even if you don't react to it, look it up, I can guarantee you will laugh!

Hailey Lee

I think he reacted to a short clip from that Butter Vlive. I think it’s called like something Butter Era in a nutshell/chaos or something. They took a clip of army’s saying tae’s hair was like a brocoli!

Ally D.

I feel like you would absolutely love Holy Fvck as an album!!! I would love to see you hear the other tracks and interpret the lyrics more. Also I feel like you would actually find it interesting to react to Demi’s 1st and 2nd album eventually. Don’t Forget, 1st album at age 15 was punk rock. It was a bit Disney coded but she still had great vocals back then and has a similar sound. Here We Go Again is my absolute favorite album, it has so many bops. Holy Fvck feels like an adult version of Here We Go Again. I think you would actually love Here We Go Again as an album, it’s very pop punk, she was 16-17 when it was released. Definitely a must listen to!!!!

YES please more Demi. Demi also has re-recorded some older popular songs as rock versions and released a newer song called Swine in support for reproductive rights in the States.

I’d love to see you react to Gracie Abrams deluxe edition of good riddance if you get the time 😌

****LENGTHY COMMENT AHEAD**** OMG thank you sooo much for the Gento reaction. Gento is slang for “ganito” which means “like this” as you saw in the captions In the song they also say “ginto” which means gold so it’s Gento and Ginto in the lyrics. The house setting is also a very old filipino house. That’s how interiors used to look like for Filipino houses a long long time ago. And the cave set is an actual cave here in the PH hehe. These are grabbed from other fans comments, but all are pretty accurate 1. Pablo cooking scene - The ingredients in the pot he's cooking are for the Filipino dish called "nilaga", this is reference to PH proverb, "Pag may tiyaga, may nilaga" which means "hard work has its rewards" 2. Stell shower scene - In PH since the weather is very hot here our body produces this "sour" smell in the armpit (that's why we always use deo) so people who don't take care of their hygiene here are called "maasim" literally "sour" *and when we are kids that plays a lot outside adults will say that we have "KILI-KILI (underarm) POWER" that's why Stell said that he feels the "power". So what it probably mean is no matter how sweaty and sour he smell after all the hardwork he did all day the haters are more "sour" than him/them. 3. Josh rap part - Darna is a PH Icon Comics hero that swallows a stone to transform into her superhero form. - He said that he's his own mechanic and don't need "Moniko" this is reference to a PH tongue twister: "Minekaniko ni Moniko ang makina ng manika ni Monika." which translates to "Moniko fixed the machine in the doll of Monika." 4. Justin switch with the dog - This is reference to Filipino slang of "dogshow" used when you are clowning/making fun of something/someone. It can either be you're making fun of another person or you're making fun of yourself. It's "dogshow" because on literal dog shows, the dogs are being displayed to the public to make "tricks" who else does "tricks"?----Clowns. 5. SB19 no eyebrows scene - If you raised your eyebrows on someone, you're judging them, right? Or being mean to them. On the MV the lyrics says to burn their brows. In PH there is this saying when you are studying hard, "nagsusunog ng kilay" which means burning their brows because their faces are buried on the book. So they're probably saying that instead of raising your eye brows on someone (judge them) why don't u just burn your brows (study) because the haters are basically dumb. ADDITIONAL EXPLANATION OF "BURNING EYEBROWS" BY JUFEL B ON THE COMMENTS: "For the "nagsusunog nang Kilay" , I got this explanation from my grandmother before. During, early and mid 90s, people in the Philippines mostly used "gasera" or lamps. Sometimes, they use candles if they can afford it. Students who stay up late to study literally burn their eyebrows since they sometimes get near the fire of the lamp." <— THIS IS THE MORE ACCURATE MEANING OF THE EYEBROW BURNING THAT I PERSONALLY KNOW OF. THE OTHER ONE IS LIKE A MODERNIZED VERSION ON THE ALIEN SCENE AT THE END: They're actually mocking their Alab MV. (watch alab mv and focus on the last part) This is because during that time they are fully managed by their Korean management SBT which made them do things they don't want to do as a group. In their “Alab” MV, for example, they are promoted as "PPOP" to the public at that time they went viral but the MV literally starts and ended with someone speaking in Korean so PH netizens bashed SB19 about being a KPOP wanna be, no originality, and having no Filipino roots in their music. Thank you again and i’m glad you were vibing and aaaaaa that Kobe reference!! I knew it would get you. I’m so happy!!! Can’t wait for you to see and hear more from them. All of their songs have something to say, and they’re all very poetic and written in proper Filipino, and not the modernized/westernized Filipino slang and Tagalog. And their latest “PAGTATAG” EP has a little bit of everything from EDM to r&b to ballad. It’s a short listen but a lot digest. definitely no skips!!

Jelena

Oh, right!! I remember now! Thank you for reminding me.

eden

Pleaseeeee listen to the whole of Holy Fvck!!!! So freaking good and I feel like since they did start of in the rock space you can kind of hear that they really enjoy what they're doing on this new album and it's something they've wanted to get back to for a bit.

Thafir

I know I’m late to the party, but you should react to the rest of holy Fvck!! :))
