I appreciate that Yang Hyun Suk lived up to his words that this song would be something really new for YG (both sonically and visually). But to be honest, I don't think this will be their style in the future, it feels like a "spin-off"... And although I am glad vocalists got to shine here way more, I still think they don't let the members to fully show what they are capable of as we saw in the Last Evaluation... But hey... maybe Batter Up & Stuck In The Middle are just songs, which should have been pre-debut songs in case the actual debut would have happened with Ahyeon, so these songs would have served as a form of building the hype towards the original debut. But since they didn't want to wait and postpone their debut again, they decided to debut them with Batter Up and made Stuck In The Middle to show something different from the "let's play it safe with Batter Up" debut.
