Kuana

side note: I love how Killua keeps changing outfits every few episodes or so. it's such a refreshing variation compared to a lot of other shounen where the character only sometimes changes outfit every season. (one of the many reasons why I love his character so much tbh)

I liked the last arc but I think people were mad bc it just kinda ended the series in a weird way and could tell they had to stop the anime bc the mangaka had health issues that stopped the manga And even tho I liked it it’s still a bit too bittersweet to me

Liv

When I first watched greed island I was not feeling it but when it got into it more and it just kept getting more batshit I just had to respect it and there were some fun character moments in this

Liv

I love and am so afraid of this mangaka WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WANNA DO ALLLLL IDEAS IN ONE SERIES?!!! YOU CANT HAVE ALL THE GENRES AND TYPES HOW DID U DO THIS

Liv

Ging is trashhhhhhh and everyone acknowledges it

Liv

And this is why we must watch the new yu yu hakusho 😔 to further understand this mangaka and WHY HE IS LIKE THIS

The moment of when you and Blaire were talking about what Phinks saw from Pakunoda’s memories and the phantom troupe’s rationality reminded me of my Economics of war and peace class I took last semester where at one point we learned about the rational choice perspective of terrorism/terrorists. The rational choice perspective through the lens of terrorism views acts of terrorism as strategic choices made by individuals or groups based on a calculation of costs and benefits. According to this perspective, terrorists are seen as rational actors who weigh the potential gains against the risks involved in committing acts of violence for political, ideological, or religious purposes. This approach analyzes terrorism through the lens of decision-making processes, incentives, and the pursuit of perceived objectives, treating terrorists as individuals making strategic choices in pursuit of their goals. This perspective in no way justifies their acts but it switches the general view of seeming crazy and acting without thinking to being rational and strategic in ways the general public doesn’t condone or what the average person would usually do
