2023-09-30 21:19:59 Hanbin can literally join the Street Woman Fighter or Street Man Fighter shows. He actually could’ve been a part of Eoddae, who is a male Waacking group, they even met before. Hanbin is also a student of Bada Lee, who is going viral right now & she’s one of the most popular & sought out choreographer in kpop. He can even join Street Dance of China & do dance battles with other pro dancers. I really hope Hanbin will be able to show off his Waacking and Tutting more in the future, especially in their choreos. If wakeone let’s them, zb1 can stand out so much in kpop by adding these dance styles to their choreo.

IM LIKE THE BIGGEST AMAZING SATURDAY FAN AHHHH, the cast is so amazing it’s my fav comfort show (but u always need food ready to eat with it) BUT to answer your question ! the host, BOOM (nickname MC BOOM) was the person yelling over jelly pop, he’ll often do adlibs like that like a REAL MC over the songs or when people are dancing, he’s not in suju he’s a bit older he is known for being a tv personality and comic host butttt he was originally artist where he put out songs here and there but the cast loves to tease him about his short lived boy group nuclear in the 90s

Amazing Saturday from very early on has had Seventeens AJU NICE just completely integrated into the show and even all of Seventeen has been on the show multiple times and it’s fun SEUNGKWAN HAS BEEN THERE SO MUCH HAHA

This was a special ep of Nolto the format was a little diff, I don’t think I’ve seen them split up the group like that before bc either the whole group will be there from the beginning or it’s just 2-3 guests each ep & rules go that yes Haetnim will eat half of the portions if they fail each time—typically the episode is split into: dictation round 1, snack round, dictation round 2 where it’s a different meal

Donghyun is the worst in terms of dictation and it’s funny to see him adopt this role of the heel in the show AND Nolto is getting up there in age wow they’ve been around since 2018, there’s been some cast changes but for the most part it’s been the same, Hyeri from Girls Day was there and her friend Taeyeon (also Key and Taeyeon are total besties) took her spot when she left, and Nucksal was a later add with P.O from Block B who isn’t there right now bc of enlistment

Nolto is the best show bc it fits every guest (actor, singer, influencer) and actually brings out the best of guests talents, plus having a larger cast that helps and teases the guest, the cast is tight knit so they are comfortable being ABSOLUTELY SAVAGE to each other it’s great it feels like an equal playing field for everyone even Haetnim will get in the mix

This is honestly so interesting to read and see how people recognize him (and other non-idols in the industry). For me, I recognize him from when he hosted shows “back in the day” like Star King, Invincible Youth 2 and Strong Heart.

Amazing Saturday is a long ass show, if you get curious anyday, seventeen’s episodes are legendary. The best ones are the ones Seungkwan and Key play off of each other. I’ve been watching amazing Saturday for a while and this episode was actually made for ZB1 to shine and it came as a surprise ‘cause it’s very rare for whole groups to appear like this, before this episode the only ones to do that were seventeen and snsd i think. ALSO is very important to watch some of Hanbin pre debut videos to understand some of the jokes on zb1 folder, specially the Mother video.

Would love to see more Amazing Saturday reactions if you need a new variety show. Key is so funny on this, and the episode where Minho and Taemin came on to promote Hard (I think it's ep 270) is hilarious! Hanhae was featured on Key's first album repackage in "Cold". You also get a lot more of the main cast in most episodes, there's usually about 3 guests but they don't usually get as much screen time as ZB1 did this time, it's mostly more of the main cast playing off each other, (unless one of the guests has been on the show a few times and is more comfortable with the rest)

I do completely understand feeling the length of the show, I think it feels better in a regular format bc it’s quicker paced but also I still am weird and watch everything on 2x speed bc sometimes it does feel slow—it’s definitely something that should be treated as a “special” like once in a while occasion for a certain group or for filming sessions they could be split into 2 videos one for the first round and second for snack and 2nd round

The length of the show has been a running joke on amazing Saturday. especially in the earlier eps where the members would celebrate that they get to go home early if the dictation goes smoothly (there are three rounds; 2 dictations and 1 snack round). sometimes the dictation goes over 40 mins and that's when u know a lot of stuff is gonna get cut for the other rounds. Also, sometimes the snack round would take forever bc the same members cannot get the right answer and all the other members are so fed up and practically throw them the answer, but they still don't get it XD (i would say dong-hyung, hanhae are the infamous members that always struggle in the snack round; just constantly losing and not being able to win a snack).

It feels like a crime when they don't show the full, fixed scene of Hanbin showing off his dance. He really is crazy and just like you said, if we just see him visually, his bright, pretty and proper visual, we won't expect him to dance the way he did. his vibe really change when he dances and really, it shows the years he has honing it. Really wish wakeone will show it off more especially for their performances in general, because tbh, the rest of zb1 are also great dancers too and they should start showing it to the world.

you guys REALLY need to do a deep dive into hanbins pre-debut dances. If you think he's nasty now? It's an entirely different person then. In his waacking videos especially, he channels way more feminine energy (I'm guessing it has to do with him being comfortable around other waackers in class)

Just a suggestion, but as a lover of variety shows, it would be fun if you did one episode of a long variety show a month for one idol group, whatever you feel like at the moment. A bit like this month, not putting it in the schedule but watching one whenever you want and putting it on patreon. I personally don't really watch idol variety so it's nice to learn about new idol groups through long form korean variety. I've been really busy and tired these past few months I haven't really been watching any variety shows, but watching this ep really made me want to get back into it. So thank you for this!!

Boom used to be in multiple groups, neither with great success. He then debuted solo too but also not much fame from there. He's now a host at different shows. I really love Amazing Saturday even though as someone who doesn't speak korean parts about the correct spelling etc. are not that interessing. But the cast with each other and with guests make it really entertaining. It also had a spin-off with mostly idols doing it. And yes, the aju nice is basically present multiple times in the show basically since it's first episode

Oh PD, Hanbin's predebut videos very much show him as a queer performer. Most notably, he danced to RuPaul and went viral for it. He is definitely a lot spicier in performance outside of the BP999/ZB1 universe and i HOPE TO GOD zb1 gets a concept that highlights that in the future cause I think they could be such a unique bg

Before you watch the Zb1 folder next, I'd highly recommend to check out Hanbin's predebut stuff first (as many others already did) or at least his RuPaul's Mother dance as it helps you to understand the reference the members do :)

Amazing Saturday is such a good show! Jihoon & Jeongwoo also appeared on the show! It would be nice if you can watch that too. Seventeen episodes are also always hilarious
