The talk about Jeonghan's image at the end was interesting because it 100% changed after the Catch Stock episodes in 2021. Both teams in that episode tried to strike up a deal with the PD and ultimately sided with Jeonghan's team since he made a better offer than Mingyu did for his team, and because that helped Jeonghan's team win, people were really mad at Jeonghan for making that deal and everything and said he always ruins the games by cheating & betraying all the time... I don't think it was fair since Mingyu tried to cheat in the same way but yeah.... Ever since then they seem to be more careful about his image and even in Best Friends the editors wrote something like "Jeonghan is Jeonghan please don't misunderstand." It seems like they're all aware it can upset fans and he's obviously the most aware, they even refer to Catch Stock upsetting fans in a more recent episode, so that backlash had really stuck with them and I think Jeonghan in particular.

we all know that Jeonghan's tricks are just for the show and it makes the flow better fr everytime he does it.. He is the most caring person off-camera in svt so that's why members can't help but trust him and fall for it everytime🤣 I hope he doesn't get hurt by ppl who don't know about them well and saying nonsense abt him🥲

Well, I do find Jeonghan’s tricks entertaining, but you are kinda wrong about the Catch Stock situation Mingyu and Jeonghan attempt to cheat were really different I don’t think Mingyu’s team would even think about making a deal with PD if PD didn’t suggest it himself and he actually persuaded them by telling that it will be more fun that way While Jeonghan was the one who actually came up with the idea to make a deal with PD. Wich later lead to PD persuading Mingyu’s team That’s why the comments were mostly mad about Jeonghan team But yeah, I hope people would take these games less seriously cause the boys are just having fun and trying to make interesting content for carats

Oh yes that's true! I forgot about that part, thought my point still stands in that I think fans just need to loosen up a little. That Catch Stock situation has really stuck with them though and when you think about, nowhere was it explicitly said Jeonghan couldn't conspire with the staff at all, he basically found a loophole and the PD was willing to join in. I do still think the reaction was unfair just because it went further than that ep if that makes sense? It is interesting to see how Jeonghan is aware of his image in Gose in particular, and being more careful in these eps too. It's all just games and none of it makes him some bad person, it's just fun.

Yeah and the fact that Jeonghan is aware of this image is a little bit sad( Hope that he knows that those moments also made a lot of gose episodes more interesting and memorable!

the thing about jeonghan that is so entertaining and fascinating to me that he will cheat to win but he rarely betrays his team.if he has given his word he most likely stick to it. He will cheat in order for him or his team to win and i love that
