Definitely conflicted or at least see both sides, I do love Summer Comes as a title track bc it is a very welcome return of the OMG sound I’ve come to love and they’ve been known for after over a year group hiatus—I do think OMG loves doing these kinds concepts but also I wish for them to be able to be unleashed like in Paradise for a title track, like look at DESTINY or GUERRILLA back in Queendom I think all miracles wanted them to have a comeback with this concept BUUUUUT I also understand that this is a smart marketing move as the first comeback as a group since Jiho’s departure to reassure the fans, the public, and comfort the girls themselves of doing something in their bag to reestablish their standing—so while I do love Paradise I’m not exactly upset it’s not the title at least for now after a full year of no group

Just throwing ideas out there but maybe we’ll get to see more sides shown/allowed for Oh My Girl since WM Ent was obtained by RBW Ent, or at least a bigger budget they deserve allocated for all members to get work and promotions

Personal opinion: I would prefer you do the first listen of title tracks WITH the MV. A huge part of Kpop, as you know, are the visuals and choreography. I think first listen without the MV can lowkey do the song disservice. Maybe you could do like a hybrid format? Album + MV. You go straight to the MV when it comes up in the album track list and do like a disclaimer that you don’t be breaking down the MV like you normally would.

Agree with the previous comment! I would still prefer the first listen of title tracks with the music video just because the visual and choreography it’s just hits different, and most of the time I will like the song a lot more because of the music video!

I love this album so much! Summer Comes didn’t wow me at first, because I wasn’t the biggest fan of the music video, but I startet to looove it after watching the performances. They were having so much fun with the choreo and the song is so good performed live. The performances for Celebrate were also fantastic!

I'm a bit late to this reaction but I really appreciate your reaction to Oh My Girl's music. I'm also glad you came around with Summer Comes after the live stages. But my biggest takeaway to your reaction is your fondness of Paradise. As a Miracle who became an OMG fan through Guerilla, I can totally relate on waiting for OMG to release a song similar to it and you're right, Paradise is that song. You gave me a newfound appreciation to Paradise with your listening party so thank you. As for Mimi's lyric credits, she has been writing her own raps since their debut album but this is the first time where Mimi is credited to all the tracks in the album. I really did wish you got to do a Listening Party to the Real Love album tho. It was a very experimental and diverse album from Oh My Girl so you missed a bunch on that one. Looking forward to your MV reaction to Summer Comes!
