I read this arc after finishing season 1 with you guys and damn, it was emotional wreckage BUT SO BEAUTIFUL but yeah nobody should binge read or watch it let this simmer

you will make my days with these jjk reactions, aaahhhh i'm so excited!!! this arc is lowkey my favorite cause geto is in like my top 3 fave characters haha and you'll get a big insight of him finally, this arc will also help to explain why things are the way they are in the jjk world rn, the author is a genius with writing, ik ya'll will love it! a little fun fact, the character that was with toji (megumis dad) is actually korean! from what i remember the character design is inspired in ma dongseok, akutami loves kpop and korean movies😭 he likes jyp, he said he watched the survival show "nizi project" from jype japan and he once said in an author comment that one of the big surprises for him in 2021 was hwasa from mamamoo lmaooo😭, i loved this crossover, it was like my two worlds colliding

The prequel happening right after the events of season 1 happen in the manga too, it flows surprisingly well looking at the end of the arc and where it goes to next

this arc is like my favorite but also i hate it because geto is my favorite character and see his whole back story and his fall is just so painful like its so ironic to think about that basketball scene and see how getou had a higher sense of morality and will to help the weak while gojo had more of a "fuck them only strong people matter" mindset and how that its totally reversed nowdays because of stuff that happened and made geto not believe in all that he did anymore :') but well this season its gonna be an amazing emotional ride that im excited to see you guys go through it and yeah i love how cinematic this season looks

Important to know: Its only this arc that is prequel which is 5 episodes in total. Episode 6 isn't in its usual slot. There are 2 episodes dedicated to ONLY recap of the last season and the 0 movie if I remember correct. You can TOTALLY skip them. End of august starts the real episode 6 with the shibuya incident arc which airs until the end of season 2 (it's an 18 episode arc roughly).
