that sieun slaps really one of the realest scene I have ever watched in kdramas with the emotion expressed through it. no wonders park jihoon won best new male actor in a recent award show with this show

I somehow didn't catch that y'all would be watching this till about a week ago and I'm so glad that's the case. Because if I had known you were going to be starting this show I would have been on the edge of my seat all month. I watched it on a whim many months ago and it still sticks with me all these months later. Rewatching this first episode made me realize how almost hypnotizing it is. From the music in the background to the editing, the push and pull of the scenes. All of it works together to really draw the viewer in. I hope you both enjoy it, I feel that this one truly has something special about it.

GOD I love this drama so much! And god I did not miss the bully with the eyebrows. I hate this character so fucking much it's insane. He plays his roll really well but damn the character itself is just reeeeeking of insecurity. You can see it in his eyes when he bullys someone but it doesn't go his way. And to think of that these kind of people really exist in RL is so frustrating. Somehow this drama feels so real but at the same time very... anime like? I don't really now how to describe it. Maybe it's because of the "jiwoong" character because he's giving major hero vibes haha

I did actually want to see him irl the bully character. Like they always had interviews for the main 3 and then sometimes the girl and the cousin but never had the bully. I really wanted to see his real actors personality. Like they had the bully in all of us are dead in all the interviews. Even nayeon the one everyone hated too. But in this show they never had the bully which was just crazy to me since he was one of the main ones too I’d say. Like he was always there at first and then he just stopped being there for most of the last half. But I would’ve still loved to see him in interviews for sure.

The actor of Sieun and the actor with the eyebrows have been in three dramas together and are actually pretty good friends. It pretty jarring when you see them interacting in the behind the scenes

I think that if the guy didn’t come and stop him from stomping on that bullies head that dude would be dead for sure. Like he was about to stomp on his head. His adrenaline was so riled up he wasn’t going to stop. That’s why he goes after him too at the end.
