I couldn’t stop myself after I watched this arc and read the rest of the manga from that point end of this onward AND ITS SO GOOD BUT SO DANGEROUS BC U CAN BINGE IT SO HARD I finished in like 2 days, be careful to pace yourselves and enjoy the material ☠️

The next episodes is honestly one of my favorites in the series so far. Earlier this year in February they were showing the final four episodes of this season in movie theatres in the u.s, and seeing the end of this arc in that kind of setting definitely makes the end of this season one that I can’t forget

Rengoku's death had such a profound impact on Inosuke because it was the first time he really felt sadness. As you said, Rengoku's death gave hope to the series, and it gave Inosuke something to really fight for. Rengoku's death definitely meant a lot to Tanjiro too, but it completely changed Inosuke's view of life. I also love how you mentioned the vibes of the opening and ending songs because I think it perfectly encapsulates this season. The opening is very much a glorious and festive song, and I definitely recommend checking out the lyrics because they are very beautiful. When you finish this season, listen to it once more because you will come to appreciate the opening so much more with context. This isn't just a song, it's a celebration. Another thing that you said about the Hashiras and how they seem to die all the time, I think it's important to remember that yes, they do die all the time. Keep in mind that before these current Hashiras, fighting any Upper Moon was basically a death sentence and that it wasn't until recently they actually stood a chance. I think it's easy to get caught up in Tanjiro's story and forget just how desperate the war actually is. Just between Gyuutaro and his sister alone, they killed a total of 20 Hashiras. And yes, Rengoku may have died, but he almost killed Upper Moon 3, which is a feat in of itself and that alone is cause for hope. Because they have a chance now. It really highlights just how badly they are fighting a desperate battle. And yet they still fight and hold out onto hope that one day they will be victorious because they will never give up. Can't wait for you guys to finish the season and start season 3!
