To me, I think what makes him so special is his security and assurance when he sings. He is so grounded in the musical choices he makes and goes for it. He also has so much soul, and he takes his time with the melody, each line he sings feels complete. After this I have to say he is my one of my favorite male vocalist of the 4th gen.

I’m so happy you watched this and finally saw the potential that this man has. Sangyeon is my ultimate bias and he usually doesn’t get praised for his voice even though technically he is amongst the best 4th gen main vocals. But he is so much more than just one of the best 4th gen vocals. I’m glad you finally see his vibe and colors because many times when u have reacted to the Boyz and mention things like “who is that singing?” Or “who hit that note?” It’s always Sangyeon just killing it. I looooved this reaction. Your comments were very accurate, I actually think it's a shame that Sangyeon is not really promoted with this image, he feels like a hidden gem while also shining really bright everytime he sings

Thank you so much for this reaction! I'm not exaggerating when I say that this Lee Mujin Service with Sangyeon changed my life. Like you, I also cannot wait for his solo debut, but I kind of understand where he is coming from. Firstly, as the eldest, he's going to be the first to enlist, and so I think their priority is going to be group promotions until enlistment. My hope is that when he's discharged and waiting for the other members to finish their service, he'll get that chance to really show off as a solo artiste. Secondly, from debut till now, he's had very little solo showcases compared to the rest of the members. Since its definitely not due to a lack of talent, I'm fairly sure that Sangyeon is choosing to focus his efforts on the group over himself. His personality seems to be a selfless one, and he always seem to genuinely want his fellow members to succeed, so it seems natural as the leader that he's sacrificing his own opportunities for the group.

Thank you for checking out Sangyeon's ep. The amount of times I've listened to his covers in this video is insane. And I'd pay money for lee mujin to release these as tracks on streaming services. I recently discovered the boyz and when I saw Sangyeon was doing this I knew it was gonna be epic and I loved seeing y'all break as much as I did at every cover he did. He didn't go as viral and I hoped he would. Please promote Sangyeon and The boyz. Sangyeon is too humble to promote himself so we gotta do it and maybe IST will push him more into showcasing his voice in future content!! Love you both:)
