I completely understand the perspective for Rora, but I still want to give her credit. She only learned dancing at YG, and she's one of the two BM members who doesn't live in the trainee dorm (because her school is outside of Seoul). So entering the trainee life, all she had was her raw voice, and based off the introduction video, it was a very raw diamond in the rough. And YG managed to dig this diamond up, so with enough pressure she'll shine for sure. At only 14 years old, her future is just getting started. The maknae line (Rora+Chiquita) will definitely be a big part of BM shocking the world. P.S. BABYMONSTER is just too much of a powerhouse that the tables for criticism and assessment have flipped --- a paradox if you may. And what I mean by that is those who don't stand out get noticed more because they're all so good that if you fall behind you'll catch attention.

just thought you should when you start watching baby monsters again that all of them will likely be debuting no matter what the last Evalution series makes it seem. they have been posting on their social medias and just recently they all 7 of them did the dance challenge to the new jisoo solo song. the series was all filmed i think last year and right now they are getting ready for debut.

As Yang Hyun Suk mentioned again: „someone will be eliminated“… I was thinking if there is any way how he could be just playing his mind games with us and at the same time not lying to them at the time it was recorded.

Well… what if the very last episode won’t be recorded in the previous year as the rest of the episodes are, but in some upcoming episode Yang Hyun Suk will say: „Alright… I changed my mind… I’ll give you one more year and then we will see“ and the very last episode will be recorded in these upcoming days. Like he initially really wanted to eliminate some of them, so he was truly saying this to them, but then he changed his mind and gave them a year, so he can debut all of them and use all those recorded materials as one big pre-debut promotion. Also… this Friday (in Korean time zone) we will get the Last Evaluation with the rest of the performances. And then on Saturday, BLACKPINK is performing at Coachella…

I know this sounds really over-combined and Yang Hyun Suk would have to plan this really hard. But we have to keep in mind that Yang Hyun Suk is going really all-in with this group and his attitude is: „Nothing is impossible for this group“. So what if they have like special appearance/cameo performance for a song or two with BLACKPINK on Coachella? Like on Friday the episode would end with his words of giving them another year. And then we would see them on Coachella as their „debut stage“ and in the next week’s episode it would be announced that he decided to keep all of them based on that performance (although he would already knew his decision even before Coachella, but it would be only presented to us as like that performance there made him change his mind). These 3 solo performances: All of them were god-like, but my god… ASA! She was like: „This is the ride or die round“. Like… we could totally feel her 100% effort to make it to debut!! Or to be fair… all of them put 100% effort, but Asa went above 100%!

Objectively she was the best and for me she was the best as well. They release these performances the day after the release of the episode, but since we got three performances in this episode, they released only one performance the next day and then the second one and then after three days I was able to replay that song on its own (before during those three days I always had to replay it on my own on the timer). Well, Asa would have to work a little bit more on her vocals to be fully the true all-rounder, but she could compete with Ahyeon for sure, because she is on her way there! LoL, I feel totally the same way about listening to John Legend’s music! I thought I was weird in this way… I pretty much agree with your statements, but I would use your words: „She is a good artist, but not an idol“ not to Pharita, but to Rora. Like I understand and agree with your words about Rora, but I would say in case of Pharita it is more like it’s surprising she is under YG and is about to debut in a girl group and not as a soloist or in a duet as AKMU for example, rather than her not being/having the „idol sauce“. Because with Rora I feel exactly in the way you described Pharita.
I talked about it in the previous episode. They might possibly eliminate her because they might not know how to use her vocals in this Kpop group. And I would add here that she might not be able to find her own face.
Way back then YG trainees had to train longer than usual, because there was an idea of finding out your own face/persona. And basically this could be the crucial moment for her, if she isn’t able to find her own persona and face both as an artist and an idol. As you talked about Asa having the YG swag! As it is now during the Last Evaluation, I agree! But in their solo performance videos (which were probably taken after the Last Evaluation) and in their introducing videos, Ruka was like the old school YG the most of them and she had that YG swag as well.
So I am curious about her development to that point.

the series was filmed a while ago and the members have all been active on social media they all did the dance challenge to Jisoo's new song that all i am saying.

I think Rora has by far the most unique and recognisable voice of the 7 and just has a really special talent to deliver emotion through her voice like Leejung said. That's why her performance was my favourite.

I agree, I just don't know if Rora's voice is fit for pop. The best I ever heard her sound was when she covered a slower-paced, more R&B type feel song. While ballads are a good opportunity for her to display more emotions, they don't really showcase her unique vocal texture

Winter Rian ~

i actually like Rora's voice so much more than anyone else's tbh :D Pharita did a perfect job but Rora was the one that gave me goosebumps.

Wow I agree about Rora. I hate to say this about a teenager but if you’re going to cut someone, cut her. She doesn’t have an individual charm aside from being a good singer. I feel Haram is doing what Rora is doing but 10x better.

On a side note, I think YG sees IU in Rora (visually, debut age, vocals). He clearly really likes her and sees something in her. I can imagine if she trained for a few more years (yes I very long training period) and bring her out when she’s a bit older people will appreciate and love her more (unlikely to happen but still).

Anastasia Asante

not tryna hate but i can bet 1000% yg will debut all of them, then everyone will see all the charm her fans see in her and hopefully regret saying she should be the one to be cut

I really like Rora's voice and the bits of personality we saw in her introduction video. I wish she had chosen a different song though. Rosé has also covered 'Someone you Loved' during the Japan tour in 2019 (before she had her own solo songs to sing) and I can't help but compare the two performances. It's not fair because Rosé is a seasoned singer and Rora is a trainee but just knowing what that song sounds like when it is covered by Rosé... Rora's voice could have stood out more on a different song.
